“Stayed with my Wife for our first Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in Room 2. It was absolutely incredible. There were a few extra touches such as anniversary card, truffles and macrons and rose petals on the bed with towels folded into swans. The copper bath was huge. There was a hot tub in the garden area that was also perfect for two. There was a well stocked mini bar with some thoughtful extras. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was faultless. We had breakfast served in our room...

“Our room was beautiful. It had a king size bed and the en-suite bathroom was a good size. The only downside was that the toilet flush handle was broken but still worked. It could have done with better lighting in the bathroom as you couldn’t see in the mirror very well. The room was immaculately clean and had a sofa and tv with easy to connect to WiFi. Personally I struggled with comfort of the bed as I found it too soft but it was dressed with clean sheets and had extra pillows in the wardrobe....

“Stayed here on a whim, travel a lot with work and try to pick small independent places where I can, usually with a pub. Unfortunately, the pub was shut as it was a Monday, but I just crossed the road and went there for food and drinks so no problem. The room was beautiful, bright, very clean and very spacious. It looked newly decorated and done very tastefully, felt like I was staying in a stately home, not the local boozer! I mentioned to some locals I was working with that I was staying here...

“This was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at night— if it’s hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. But it was very clean and comfortable.”
