“If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). “Our stay at Chris's house was very relaxing and the room was spotless and well decorated. There was cool documentation on fauna and flora and ample space to park and walk on the property. Note that the pool is a few minutes away at the clubhouse. Tronadora is about 10 minutes away by car if you need groceries or wish to eat at the local Soda. The nature soundtrack (birds, monkeys) was impressive.”

“Honestly an amazing little spot near the city center. Quiet comfortable and everything you need. One of the light bulbs burnt out and they were there within minutes to replace it. Helpful with things to do around as well”

“Everything went well, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a great location, just a few minutes outside of the busy downtown area and very close to the hot springs at Tabacon. ATV tours are almost Nextdoor… very close. The pool/jacuzzi was a nice perk being able to utilize it with some degree of privacy. Directions were adequate, just look for the sign on the side of the building as soon as you exit the highway and watch out for drop going from pavement to gravel…. It’s substantial but not an issue...
