Unico nel suo genere! Eclettico e Shabby Chic !!

Questa affascinante casa c1925 è stata recentemente rinnovata e ristrutturata e ora è un'adorabile piccola casa lontano da casa. Per il rinnovo è stato utilizzato molto materiale di recupero; tutto il shiplap è originale per la casa mentre le porte, le mensole e le panchine sono state ricavate dalla vecchia pavimentazione del Railroad Bridge Park. Amiamo la nostra casa, e la nostra posizione (direttamente dalla via principale), letteralmente nel cuore della nostra piccola e umile cittadina di Sequim. Speriamo che vi piaccia anche voi! Questa proprietà non vanta tutto nuovo di zecca, ma i letti sono dotati di materassi di alta qualità e biancheria raffinata.
Il bagno è fornito di asciugamano peluche e saponi fatti a mano localmente.
La cucina ha tutto il necessario per cucinare i pasti e un sacco di stoviglie per cinque persone. Una lavastoviglie e prodotti per la pulizia sono forniti.
È una miscela pulita, accogliente, confortevole e stimolante di nuovi e vecchi (rustici e contemporanei). Ha un sacco di carattere e una bella area soggiorno esterna recintata.
Siamo nuovi proprietari ma ci assicuriamo che avrai ancora tutti i comfort che il proprietario precedente ha incluso aggiungendoci il nostro. La casa è divertente da guardare e facile da gustare :)

Accesso ospite
Gli ospiti hanno accesso a tutto. Tuttavia, chiediamo che tutti i fuochi siano mantenuti al minimo e inizino all'imbrunire o più tardi.
Inoltre, la vasca da bagno all'aperto è il nostro prendere su una vasca idromassaggio. È facile da gustare, basta far scorrere il tubo e accendere l'acqua calda. Il coperchio è molto pesante, quindi fai attenzione se decidi di usarlo e assicurati che la parte superiore sia fissata e bloccata prima dell'uso. Nessun bambino dovrebbe essere lasciato incustodito.

Interagiamo con i nostri ospiti quando necessario. Abbiamo scoperto che la maggior parte degli ospiti preferisce meno comunicazione durante il loro soggiorno, che comprendiamo e rispettiamo. Vogliamo anche che i nostri ospiti sappiano che se c'è qualcosa di cui hanno bisogno, o se qualcosa viene fuori, siamo solo lontani da una telefonata.

Altre cose da notare
Il parcheggio si trova sul lato est della recinzione, abbastanza grande per una grande casa mobile, se necessario.

Great place in a great location

My kids and I stayed here for two nights in order to see the Olympic Peninsula. It was such a cute home that was in a great location. The owner was very communicative and we had no issues with our stay. The home was lovely!

Great location in Sequim

We were pleasantly surprised by this property. The place felt bigger than we expected and all appliances and furnishings were more comfortable than expected. After long days of driving around and exploring the Olympic peninsula, it was nice to be able to walk to a large selection of restaurants in the area. If you have bikes I'd advise you to bring them inside the house with you. We had one incident where we caught a thief attempt to steal one of the bikes off of our rack red-handed. Luckily our bikes were locked up on the rack but it is good to know that bike thieves exist everywhere now--not just in urban areas! I know Sequim is generally a very safe area and that this was just a crime of opportunity but we thought future guests would find this information helpful. Thanks for a lovely home, Martha

Cute shabby-chic cottage

This was a very well-maintained little home with many loving touches. A kitchen filled with everything needed for preparing meals and a great selection of k-cup coffees. We enjoyed the front entry way sitting after coming back from a full day of exploring. Being greeted by the flowers in the parking area was a definite plus.

Best Location in Sequim

Our family of four had a great stay at the Shack. Martha is a thoughtful host and prompt with communication. The location is literally in the center of town, but back far enough off the road that it feels private and we had no noise issues. Was nice to be in easy walking distance to so many great shops and restaurants. Sequim was experiencing a record-breaking heatwave during our visit, so the Shack got pretty toasty but we appreciated the extra fans in the bedrooms to help stay cool. Loved the movie selection, and though we didn't cook the kitchen seemed well stocked. Beds were super comfortable. We will definitely return!

Cute abode in middle of Sequim

Nice quaint abode, very clean with plenty amenities, especially in kitchen. could benefit from more lighting. Didn’t realize this property is on a Main Street in Sequim (impossible to realize from the photos in the listing).

Quirky and darling

Property looks just as it does in pictures... Host obviously put a lot of thought into the charming details. Scrabble tiles labeling contents within cabinets was appreciated as was box of local restaurant menus. Gas stove, even though I didn't cook was really nice to see. Bed was also very comfortable with cozy linens. No central air so it made for one pretty warm night in the shack during my summer trip that the two fans just couldn't adequately address. Some windows in shack don't open at all and not all that do are screened or lock (bedroom side door to garden), so as a single woman traveling alone I didn't feel safe having them open at night while I slept. Overall, was happy with the accommodations and would recommend to others.

We loved The Shack!

We were in town for a soccer tourney and found the location extremely convenient. Loved the decor inside and out. Extra parking allowing the grandparents to join in their motorhome. Fun courtyard kept our pups happy and wonderful neighbors and local businesses to chat with. We will definitely ask to book again! Great owners, excellent communication and follow through. The Shack is well equipped with everything you’d need and it’s fun and eclectic to top it off. Thanks again!!

Charming, artistic, rustic yet comfortable.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at the Urban Shack very much. It is located on a main street in Sequim, but is set back from the road. There are several great restaurants within walking distance too. We loved the artistic touches throughout the house. It is a very rustic style, but with modern touches (great appliances, gas fireplaces and flat screen TVs). We loved it, will recommend it to friends, and hope to stay again. Thanks, Martha!

Cute, quaint, quiet, clean and comfy

This space was the perfect getaway for my wife and I to celebrate my birthday. It was exactly as described on the website and did not disappoint. Martha obviously knows a little something about how to make guests feel at home even when she is not there to personally welcome them, as every expectation was met, and every question answered in almost real time. She even hit the mark with her restaurant recommendations. Definitely try Tedesco's, which is right across the street, for dinner, and the Oak Table, which is just down the alley, for breakfast or lunch. We would definitely stay here, and visit the OP again.

What a great place to stay!

The Urban Shack in Sequim is an awesome place. Though they say it is small, it has plenty of room. The house has lots of personality - I would love to hire whoever designed it for my house! Truly one of a kind. And the small front yard makes staying with pets easy! The fire pit and "hot tub" add to the charm. The house is very clean with new appliances and plenty of room in the kitchen, and a wonderful shower in the bathroom. Right in downtown Sequim, it is set a bit off the road, but is walking distance from many restaurants and stores. I would stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone who wants to stay in Sequim. My only complaint is the lighting in the bedroom is a bit dim. Awesome place!
