Hotel vicino a Shantytown Heritage Park - Greymouth

“Abbiamo trascorso 2 notti nella struttura, il personale è stato gentile e premuroso (ci hano oferto il latte per la colazione...salvo poi accorgerci che era scaduto!!). La camera era un miniappartamento, con cucina e stoviglie, pulito e ben tenuto. Seppur in fianco alla SH6 è silenzioso, ha il posto macchina di fronte alla camera, ha la lavanderia e anche l'accesso al Mar di Tasmania...comodo nella giusta stagione!”

“We went for a double room with private bathroom and it was one of the cleanest places we ever stayed and everything was well organized. The kitchen is huge and very very clean, it is true we didn’t saw a lot of people using but there was a couple. Staff was helpful and show some places to visit nearby and some to eat and have a beer. Totally recommended!”

“At the time of writing, this hotel has a 9.2 on Expedia. That is truly absurd. This hotel is old (they don’t call it “historic” for nothing) and run down (featuring peeling wallpaper, a saggy matress, threadbare carpet and a kitchen that looks like it was built in the 80s). Making things worse, there is literally not a single thing of interest in Kumara (it only exists because it is a stop on the West Coast Wilderness Trail). Unless you’re using this hotel as a way to break your cycle trip, I...

“The outside of the building is a stark contrast to the inside of the building, which was a relief. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was aesthetically pleasing but the food was very disappointing. It was the worst steak my husband said he has ever had. He is an ex-chef. Both of our meals were warm-cold. The male restaurant staff member was not very friendly and uniform was scruffy. Heating the plates and ensuring food arrives hot would go a long way to improving things. ”

“Gute Lage zur Stadt, die Unterkunft war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Aufgrund der Lage etwas lsut, aber Ohropax war vom gastgeber bereitgestellt. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten: die Bettdecke im Einzelbett war zu groß, das ließ sich nicht gut schlafen. Zudem waren die scharfen Messer leider nicht mehr scharf. Und eine Kaffeemaschine für Pads macht ohne einen Grundvorrat an Pads wenig Sinn.”

“We were given an unexpected room upgrade from one triple to two ocean view rooms on arrival. The delicious dinners were offered on the covered patio overlooking the extensive flowering gardens and the ocean before our hosts treated us to an amphibious beach buggy ride at sunset. We finished the day relaxing in the hot tub. Wonderful day. They made it so easy to include everything they offered. Would highly recommend to anyone. ”
