Case in affitto a Shapleigh

“We rented Chris' property for my cousins wedding weekend and it was truly amazing. It is 10-15 minutes from all essentials we needed for the weekend. 8 minutes from the venue as well. It was so clean and very spacious. The outdoor amenities were incredible. The beds were super comfortable. the kitchen had all of the essentials. enough towels to last a lifetime. We are dog people though. The dogs were part of the wedding and having a such a nice place for the humans to stay as well as the dogs...

“The rental left a bit to be desired. The interior was nice and comfortable and clean. The exterior was not as expected. There was no dock in the water as advertised, the paddle boat was filled with water and dirty, the outdoor furniture was not cleaned and had dead bugs all over it. I communicated the week prior to arrival asking about life jackets to use the boats and was told they should be there but it would be confirmed. I kept following up but no confirmation. There were no lifejackets...

“Place was clean and cozy. Big yard for games and a fire pit for s’mores. Based on previous review I brought pots/pans but didn’t need them. Everything was available. Stove is gas and I was not familiar with using one so that was the only “challenge”We had a ball and the place was perfect for us!!”

“Check in details were provided only a few days before our arrival and only after we reached out to inquire. Photos did not include exterior photos of the home so it wasn’t very easy to find, nor were the instructions clear that the “front door” is actually the second floor so instead we walked in to the unfinished basement (also not included in the photos) which made us concerned we were walking in to the wrong house! House was also not very clean unfortunately!”

“The location was very convenient. Easy drive to downtown Saco and Biddeford. As well as very quick access to the highway so Portland and other points are easy to get to. Ample parking.”

“Property was just as pictured. Great location near the pond. Home had everything I could have needed, including a few snacks. Bit of a snafu on check-in but host communication was quick and pleasant!”
