“The hotel is generally okay with a nice pool and gym area. The rooms really need some love and care. We had to move to another room as the radiator thermostate (tap) was broken off at full on so we were far too hot. The new room was a much better temperature, but the loo roll holder had gone so you end up holding the toilet paper like being on a camping trip. “The room was perfect, lovely bathroom as well, however the hotel experienced a power outage overnight & therefore there was no hot water, lighting, no hot food for breakfast - and for whatever reason the toilets wouldn’t flush, which nobody seemed to realise. We had to pack the relative darkness looking for our belongings from the lights from our phones, and finding a way down the corridors in a huge sprawling hotel in the dark was quite tricky. I realise this is not exactly the hotels fault but...

“Great hotel. Staff were good but let down with restaurant weekend staff that could have done more. I kinda felt they didn't make an effort asking a colleague or finding out to andwer my questions instead of just saying "I don't know" Got my simple request wrong 3 times which was a shame. In the end I didn't insist anymore as I felt will just add to my stress.”

“The only issue we had was when we finished our meal in the bar the plates and cutlery were not cleared from our table and were still on the table when we left the bar at the end of the evening”
