Hotel vicino a Sherman Hospital - Elgin

“Good”

“Arrived and did not have towels, had to wait for laundry to be completed. Bed was essentially a cot with a beat up chair in the corner. Visible dust buildup on tops of walls. Saw many small black bugs throughout visit, then on last day saw multiple cockroaches. Front desk operated on limited hours and when they were there, did not acknowledge guests.”

“The Tv did not work. They were unable to fix the air conditioner problem, which means the air conditioner ran all day and they were unable to turn it off, which could have caused a fire hazard the refrigerator never did work all my food went bad. I came here to be comfortable and never was comfortable at all.”

“The property was in an ok condition. They (staff) need to control noise as we experience a very noisy three day stay.”

“Lovely property in a rural setting with space to wander. Happy ducks and chickens will greet you and even eat out of your hands if you’d like them to. Clean and pretty rooms with lots of extras like robes and Netflix and snacks. Great place to stay if you have family in the nearby hospital or if you need a getaway!”

“Room was clean, breakfast was fine and staff were nice. The side door to the building had a non working lock so you could exit through that door, however you couldn't enter through that door and had to always use front door. There was no sign on the door that it didn't work so guests often tried to use it and then had to walk around to the front door. The indoor pool was frigid and felt like it either had a broken heater or the heater was turned down to a point that it wasn't usable. Our kids...

“The staff was amazing and the food from the Placery was really good. The property itself could use an update. The window in my room was cracked with a bad repair and the air conditioner was very loud and did very little to cool off the room. The room needed to be updated.”

“The property itself was horrible not clean smelled of cigarettes homeless man in parking lot peeing then he was in the lobby We left an hour after checking in Stains on sheets ceiling was cracked and collapsing. Ice machine was broken out of order AWFUL”

“Check in was quick and easy! We were able to walk around the area safely! Room was spacious and clean! Quiet! Breakfast was awesome, a great selection, inside and outside seating on patio and pool is well maintained!”
