“De Vere Tortworth Court is a beautiful and unique mansion, completely surrounded by nature, built over 170 years ago. We came to visit the Cotswolds, and this accommodation worked out quite well (it is a 40 mins-1h drive from the main villages). Things I loved: All the shared areas are well kept and organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as well as the bistro and the cocktail bar in the library room. “Under new group and nothing like when it was a Best Western. The Spa pool was still out of order. We were there in October and it was broken. There was not the warm and friendly feel we’ve received for the last six years. It was very false. I’m not worried about fresh linen in my room, totally agree with only on request, but a clean cup and glass and tea etc being replenished would have been very welcomed. Not the same hotel and won’t be returning.”
