This beautiful, historically restored, sweet, and quirky home will put you smack dab in the heart of Shiner, Texas. It's a little fancy, it's a lot cozy, it's definitely country, and it never lets you forget you are in a small town with a heart as big as Texas.

Both the K. Spoetzl Brewery and Distillery, with its live music, tastings, BBQ, and tours AND the Shiner downtown shops and restaurants are only a two block walk from our home, Brew View.

Our two private, covered parking spots greet you upon arrival. Enjoy local artisanal welcome treats and wake up to our coffee bar stocked with locally sourced ingredients. With a dreamy king bed, spacious living and dining rooms, and a thoughtfully stocked kitchen, you will feel right at home each time you visit Brew View. Relax on our oversized sofa with Wi-Fi and a smart TV or on our covered back porch with party lights draped from an oak tree.

Bedroom 1 is calm and soothing with a modern king bed and an antique dresser with mirror. The bed is flanked by antique marble top side tables with modern lamps, a sound machine, and USB and USB-C outlets for your electronics. The bedroom closet has two cotton terry robes, lots of hangers, an iron/steamer and full-sized ironing board. Open the drapes to see the pink crepe myrtle in bloom or settle in for the night by closing the black-out drapes to catch a few more winks before the morning.

Bedroom 2 is a sun-drenched room by day with two twin beds, bedside tables, dimmable lamps, USB and USB-C ports for your electronics, a garment rack with hangers, extra blankets, and yoga mats. Blackout shades provide the perfect environment to slumber underneath the Texas skies and wake feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

The only short-term rental in Shiner located right on the historic El Camino Real, we are a convenient stop on your way to all the local festivals in Lavaca and surrounding counties, Round Top antiquing, touring The Painted Churches, or exploring the Texas Wine Trail.

We spent two years lovingly restoring this 104 year old home to its original glory (with a few modern conveniences added for y'all). The original owner's name was Rosie, so we incorporate pink throughout the home to acknowledge the home's history. We discovered the original kitchen floors had been painted green, so we decided to use that green in the kitchen, only this time we put it on the cabinets which were custom-made to match the original cabinet doors we found in the attic. With a backyard view of the world-famous Shiner Brewery, we have included copper elements throughout to give a nod to our famous neighbor. Also, a couple happy accidents during restoration led us to leave one ceiling and one wall exposed so y'all could enjoy the craftsmanship (and all the nails!) that went into building this home so well that it will be here for at least another 100+ years.
