“Everyone should experience several nights at The Altland House. It's truly a special place. Our room was an "interior" room and we heard no traffic. Real for keys!! The brewery in the basement and the restaurant on the main level were superb. ”

“House is perfect to be near York hospital and staff. Perfect for rehab for my sister, with nurse visits and PT while awaiting her brain surgery. Owner very willing to accomodate your needs. His maintenance man was just a phone call away if needed.”

“Clean, comfortable, quiet. Gas and food right nearby. Minifridge in the room had a separate freezer which is a big win for me.”

“The cleanliness of the room very unsat. The top of refer and shelves. Where dusty bad. You even see with the naked eye. The iron board was broken. Amenities need some repairs. Dishes dirty and only enough to feed two people. Would be nice too have some more utensils. Bathtube stopper did not work to take bath. Staff was friendly and courteous though. Said that if there was issues in our room. There where probably other rooms dirty too. ”

“When I arrived to my room. I found black hair in the bed. Also the room was very hot and the thermostat didn’t work in the room. The curtains in the rooms are cheap they don’t black out the lights. The breakfast was horrible. I won’t be returning.”

“It was a disaster. I was charged the entire weekend when I never stayed a single night. I will NEVER book at best western again. Horrible business practices. ”
