We had the most wonderful stay! The hotel was a mix of old time charm and modern everything else. We absolutely loved it. The valley setting couldn’t have been more perfect with stunning views and wonderful walking paths and proximity to the tram and to the little town. The hotel inclusions - tennis, bikes and train/tram passes were a wonderful perk, saving us hundreds of francs on our excursions. There was so much to do. The breakfast was delicious and the dinners - while pricy, were top rate. We especially loved afternoon cocktails on the patio and in the bar with live piano. The restaurant/bar staff were mostly excellent and very efficient. There was one particularly grumpy and off-putting fellow but otherwise most were friendly. English is not widely spoken but we managed just fine.
Two thumbs up for this wonderful property. Would recommend a 4-5 day stay if you like hiking and sightseeing.
