There are three and a half baths for everyone’s convenience, and if you do need to check in with the office, there is a dedicated desk and chair tucked right into the living area for a quick work-from-home session.
After a day of adventure, the main living area is the place to be. You can kick back by the gas fireplace to defrost or head out to the private patio to soak in the hot tub. With plenty of space to spread out, it’s the perfect spot to toast to a day well spent.

The neighborhood:
Silverthorne is the kind of place that captures the true "locals' vibe" of Summit County. It’s laid-back, unpretentious, and serves as the ultimate gateway to everything the High Country has to offer. Whether you’re grabbing a craft brew at a local spot or wandering through the modern Silverthorne Bluebird Market, you’ll find a community that values the outdoors above all else. It’s a town where muddy hiking boots and ski pants are the standard dress code, and everyone is just a few minutes away from their next favorite trail.
The property’s setting in the hills provides a classic Colorado perspective that visitors dream about. Tucked away from the valley floor, you get those wide-open mountain views and a genuine connection with the natural surroundings. It’s a quiet pocket of the Rockies where you can actually hear the wind through the pines and watch the light change across the peaks. This elevated position gives you a sense of seclusion and "mountain time" without ever feeling disconnected from the action below.
Location-wise, you’re in the absolute sweet spot of the county. You are conveniently positioned less than 2.5 miles from I-70, which means you can be off the highway and into your mountain sanctuary in no time. That same short radius puts you right at the doorstep of Silverthorne’s best restaurants, the outlet shopping district, and the town of Dillon. Being so close to the Blue River and the Dillon Reservoir means you have world-class fly fishing and summer lake days just a couple of miles down the road.
If you’re here for the peaks, you couldn't ask for a more central launchpad. Being right off the I-70 corridor and Highway 9 puts you in the middle of a "ski resort circle," with five major mountains—Keystone, Copper, Breckenridge, Loveland, and A-Basin—all within a very manageable drive. Whether you're chasing the best morning powder or heading out for a sunset hike on one of the many top-notch trails nearby, this is the kind of central basecamp that lets you spend more time playing and less time in the car.
Top 5 Things to Do
• Bluebird Market: Explore this modern food hall in the heart of town. It’s a great spot to sample local vendors, grab a coffee, or play a few rounds of arcade games in a high-energy, communal setting.
• Silverthorne Pavilion & Blue River Trail: Take a scenic walk along the Blue River. The paved path follows the water through town and is perfect for a morning stroll or watching world-class fly fishermen cast for trout.
• The Outlets at Silverthorne: Spread across three different "villages," these outlets offer high-end shopping at mountain prices. It’s a great way to spend a rest day off the slopes.
• Maryland Creek Park: A massive local park featuring a dedicated sledding hill in the winter and a great disc golf course, playground, and dog park in the summer.
• Silverthorne Art Strolls: Walk the town's designated "Art District" to see local murals and sculptures, or catch a live performance at the state-of-the-art Lake Dillon Theatre Company (Silverthorne Performing Arts Center).
Top 5 Restaurants & Happy Hour Spots
• Angry James Brewery: This is the local "après" hub. Their Happy Hour features great deals on mountain-brewed beers like the "Two-Step IPA," often paired with live music and a bustling patio scene.
• The Mint: A historic Silverthorne staple where you can "cook your own steak" on giant lava rock grills. It’s a unique, interactive dining experience that has been a county favorite for decades.
• Sauce on the Blue: Known for incredible Italian food and an extensive whiskey list. Their patio overlooks the Blue River, making it one of the most scenic spots for a glass of wine and a plate of pasta.
• Murphy’s Food & Spirits: A classic Irish-style pub with a local feel. It’s the go-to spot for a heavy pour, a great burger, and a relaxed atmosphere after a long day of hiking.
• Sunshine Café: The ultimate local breakfast spot. It’s unpretentious and serves up massive portions of biscuits and gravy or breakfast burritos—perfect for fueling up before heading to the resorts.
Top 5 Hikes in the Area
• Lily Pad Lake (Easy): A family-friendly 3.3-mile round trip. It starts at the Buffalo Mountain trailhead and leads to a serene lake covered in yellow lilies with views of the Gore Range.
• Blue River Trail (Easy): A paved, flat path that winds through town along the riverbank. It’s perfect for all skill levels and offers great birdwatching and water views.
• Willow Falls (Intermediate): This 8.7-mile trek takes you through the Eagles Nest Wilderness to a series of stunning waterfalls. It’s a longer day, but the forest scenery is unmatched.
• Ptarmigan Peak Trail (Intermediate/Difficult): A steady climb that rewards you with some of the best panoramic views of the Tenmile Range and the Continental Divide. You can hike as far as you want, but the views get better the higher you go.
• Buffalo Mountain (Difficult): This is for the serious hikers. It’s a steep, rocky scramble to the summit, but standing on top of the "White Dome" of Silverthorne provides a 360-degree view of the entire county.
