Great location 5 mins walk from Bugis MRT with easy transfer to/from Changi Airport. This area - Kampung Glam/Sultan Mosque also great for local food options & shopping.
The hotel itself is showing.definite signs of age. The first room (Superior) we were given on 14th floor next to the lift was fine but the bathroom was literally the size of a broom cupboard with a shower curtain about 30cm short of the shower train. We didn't bother unpacking & asked to be transferred to another room: Faris on reception desk was very helpful and reallocated us to Room 1101 with a great view over Kampung Glam. The inside of bathroom door was very tatty but the shower worked fine and the cubicle had a sliding glass door to contain the water.
The pool area is lovely but the pool itself was less than pristine and would benefit from more regular cleaning.
The breakfast at S$30 per person is definitely not worth the money - chicken nuggets were on offer one morning with eggs the only alternative protein option.
Also a very limited selection of fresh fruits.
At the local food outlets nearby S$30 bought breakfast for 2 people with far more choice.
Overall we had a good stay and would likely stay again just for the location.
