“Our room was lovely, spacious, very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly.”

“The hotel is just in front of the pedestrian area. Parking is not easy on-site, but there are free big parking lots at 4 min by foot. The rooms are not big but cosy, very clean and functional. The staff at the reception and the pub were very helpful and fantastic. The SPA is nice and open from 9 to 21. overall, a very good stay.”

Excellent choix .”

The hotel is situated in the beautiful and peaceful village of Marquay, surrounded by the magnificent countryside of the Périgord Noir. It is the perfect location for exploring the region while still offering a wonderfully calm and relaxing place to return to at the end of the day. The property is charming and full of character. “Our stay at “au pays de Jacquou” was absolutely wonderful. Somehow remote, but also close enough (7 km) to Thenon, the village where we attended a wedding. Staff (the owners themselves and their little daughter) was very helpful and very kind. It happened that they were invited to the wedding as well! So cool! Continental Breakfast was included in our stay. The room was very spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The environment was very quiet. When I go back to Dordogne in...
