“What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome.”

“Lovely, independent restaurant and hotel in stunning surroundings. The rooms are well maintained and nicely done. The staff are friendly, very helpful, and really look after you. The breakfast in the mornings is great and really appreciated all the efforts the staff went to over the Easter bank holiday. ”

“This hotel was lovely. Rooms were spacious with a four poster bed. Beautiful en suite. Food was mind blowing. Presentation and taste. Drinks at the bar very well stocked and staff were so helpful. They really couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. ”

“The staff were so helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The food was out of this world, so tasty and beautifully presented.
The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean with a huge walk in shower. There was a kettle and a wide variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits too.
We both slept well. The curtains were blackout so weren't disturbed by the light either.”

“Es handelt sich hierbei um ein wunderschönes altes Anwesen, dass etwas abgeschieden liegt.
Das Haus und die Einrichtung haben einen besonderen, sehr eigenen Stil, der perfekt zur Umgebung passt.
Das Personal ist super freundlich, das Frühstück reichhaltig und lecker und mein Zimmer und das angebundene Badezimmer waren sehr groß.
Ich habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.”

“I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed.
The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. ”
