“The hotel is decent, but it is far too expensive for what you get. We paid £195 for one night for three guests, including breakfast, and it was not worth the price. The biggest problem was the room. It was unbearably hot, and the only thing provided was a small fan, which did almost nothing to cool it down. Our room faced east, but the window could barely be opened, leaving almost no ventilation. The room felt like an oven. We spoke to the manager about how hot the room was, but our concerns...

“Pet-friendly BUT you need to know that the guesthouse is just a small part of a large caravan and camping site. There’s also a field of horses. Guesthouse clients with dogs are only allowed in rooms accessible from the outside; we weren’t allowed inside the building. So my room opened directly onto the access road, with all the mud and noise that comes from all the traffic, walkers, and horses that passed in front of the door and small window. “Such friendly service, great rooms, lovely and quiet, very nice beds and pillows, fantastic room. Paring right outside the door. My second time staying here, would heartily recommend.”

“Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. ”

“Michelle was excellent and made our trip to Wales feel cosy, it felt like staying at a home more than a hotel. The building was lovely and clean, highly recommend, nothing was too much of an ask and I would definitely recommend to friends and family. ”

“The location was great with a lovely sea view. All the staff were pleasant especially Josh who helped with bags . My only complaint is the standard of the room. It's very dated and needs TLC . Plaster falling off some of the walls. No bedside tables. Old shower curtain. Also breakfast was extra. We spoke with other people who was staying at another hotel cheaper rate with breakfast included. I wouldn't book again.”
