“Really great everyone is so friendly, rooms are very clean and up to excellent standards. The food is brilliant very kind waiters. Reasonable price for the hotel with breakfast included. Only thing I would say is parking is very limited and extremely tight drive way wouldn’t recommend big cars. ”

They gave us the family suite so we wouldn’t have to bring our luggage upstairs. Hilary made the most perfect breakfast and it was so lovely to chat with her. “We arrived around 5:00Pm, for a long weekend the wether was stormy. We struggled to find the place as it is in the middle of nowhere next to a farmhouse. The layout was good with ample space but there’s no shower gels or hand washing soap in bathrooms. Heating stopped working the next day. Tried contacting the Sykes office and unable to get through. Eventually managed to get through to someone who sent an engineer to fix it. Poor internet connection and satellite signal for sat navigation in...

“We stayed in the room called 'The General' - A gorgeous room in the main building with a lovely four poster bed and a balcony. The room was great, it could just do with a little TLC on a few parts (Very minor). Great staff, lovely pub and wonderful food and drink.”

“Nice 300 year old cottage in the countryside. Modern kitchen and extension also nice. Small garden suitable for a dog. Owners were responsive to questions.”
