“Our stay at The crown in Blandford was pleasant, the staff are all very friendly and happy to help. Our pillows were covered with dog hairs which were swiftly changed to clean ones. The mattress could really do with a mattress protector to protect the mattress life. The carpet really does need a good clean as had stains on it. The dinner we had was very tasty. Would stay again despite the issues maybe in another room.”

“There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark.”
