“Fantastic one might stay for a wedding. Huge room and bathroom, tea and coffee and Tv in the room. Super clean and friendly owner. Excellent breakfast all freshly cooked along with cereals and fruit. Parking on site and easy walking to the town. Will definitely go back.”

“Lovely pub/restaurant with rooms in a picturesque small village. We had a great dinner and the service throughout our stay was fantastic (thank you Matthew). I wasn’t aware this was part of a chain at the time of booking but I shall be looking out for Butcombe Pubs in future.”

“The pub was supposed to close at 10pm but we heard bad karaoke signers past midnight. Service was very bad. The good news is that I reserved only for one night.”

“So impressed with our superior room, with terrace and a lovely hot tub! Such good value for money. The room was so spacious and perfect for a 2 night stay. Great walks very close and Fordingbridge is lovely for a wander. The Three Lions pub was so nice, the food was great on both nights, really friendly and polite staff. We are planning on returning for our anniversary weekend next year.”

“Comfortable room in a lovely pub. Helpful, friendly staff. Great atmosphere in the pub and delicious food.”

“Excellent all around and lovely staff”

Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over.”

“Clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly staff and good breakfast.”

Breakfast provision was not clear when booking but was available to purchase each morning. The menu suggested that continental breakfast was included in the price of all cooked breakfasts but it was not evident. Breakfast was a good portion size and very tasty. Evening meals available at a discounted price and were very filling. These was some evidence of a historic water leak in...

“Lovely quiet spot, great for having a drink in the garden after a day out. Pet friendly which was great. The dog was able to stay in the room and go in the bar too which was nice. Unfortunately the room was not very clean. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. The skirting boards hadn't been touched. The bathroom was clean but not a deep clean level as there was dust and grime around the toilet. The towels were plentiful and clean. The bedding was clean but the divan itself had a stain as...
