“We had a wonderful stay at Tides Uig. The pictures do not capture how beautiful the view is from the home. We also loved the daily visits from the local sheep. “Beautiful 4BR home with plenty of space. Located near town center this home is perfect to use as a base on the Isle. Plenty of space for multiple cars. Wonderful restaurants nearby. But do make reservations as they can be busy. We would definitely stay at this home again in the future. ”

“Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Auch auf den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen, es gab unterschiedliche Kopfkissen zur Auswahl. Der Holzfußboden knarrt leider ein wenig, dafür verbreitet er eine angenehme wohnliche Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist für einen aktiven Urlaub, auf dem man viel herumkommen möchte ideal. “We had a wonderful stay in this cozy, spotless Skye cottage. Mairi was a fantastic host—friendly and quick to respond. The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen spacious and well equipped. Just 9 minutes from Portree, it’s convenient yet perfectly remote for that “end of the world” feeling. Would love to stay here again!”

“Wonderful setting, beautiful views. Not near grocery so come well stocked. Lovely coffee yurt a couple miles down the road. The house was as-advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only hiccup was that we never received check-in instructions or an access code despite leaving emails and a voicemail 2 days in advance…so we drove 4 hours to a locked house on a weekend. Thankfully someone picked up when we called from the house and gave us the access code. I’m sure this was not a typical...

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Malt House. It was a it is described on VRBO. We were a group of 4 and found the upstairs living space and the downstairs bedrooms/bathroom to work great. The Malt House is 5 minutes walking from Portree center. Try Antlers and Sea Breezes for dinner but make reservations. We had outstanding dinners at both restaurants. The Tour Skye, Best of Skye Day Tour was everything you would need to see the sights of the Isle of Syke. It's an incredible island!!!”

"Tipica locanda scozzese con pub sotto e camere sopra. Atmosfera carina, personale gentile e divertente, gestore alla mano. Le camere e il bagno sono molto piccole e nei corridoi aleggia un odore di cibo cucinato e stantìo. Non brilla per pulizia, ma si può respirare aria autentica del luogo se si beve qualcosa nella chiassosa e divertente locanda. "

"This place is a gem in the Highlands! David and Lynn are the nicest hosts, and everything has been wonderful, from the beautiful location to the breakfast with anything you could wish for. They provide a form to fill up with your breakfast preferences (veg option very appreciated!) in addition to standard breakfast items, which I find very mindful and smart. The rooms are very cozy and clean, and they have a nice common area with a beautiful view of the river. Yeah, walls can be thin, but the place is very peaceful, so nothing that earplugs can't solve, but again, our only night there was very comfortable. Hope to stay there again!"
