“This was our fourth stay at The Balmoral. We've stayed in some of the other larger hotels in Skeggy and haven't been to impressed. We found this one four years ago and haven't bothered looking for anywhere else since. Lovely little hotel and we'll be back again next year. ”

“Nice bungalow needs a little TLC very clean bit out of the way but not a problem because I hired a mobile scooter for my mum and I was pleased that the owner keeped me up to date on everything because you have the wrong address for the property”

“Excellent stay with friendly hosts. Comfortable and cosy ensuite room with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Very good, freshly cooked breakfast. Ample on street parking available and within 5-10 minutes walk of Skegness Pier and easy driving distance to Butlins. I would certainly stay again if seeking bed and breakfast accommodation in Skegness.”

“Room was very small but clean, bed near window felt very damp, as condensation was running down windows! very cold in evening central heating just put on for about 3/4 of an hour in late evening!! Had to get into bed to keep warm!! Breakfast was the best thing about our stay, it was freshly cooked by hostess and hot! ”

“Apartment is in a great location close to beach & attractions. Staff were welcoming & friendly and let us check in 2 hours early which was appreciated as it was raining. Apartment is well presented but very grubby and dated. Found the room & pillows to smell of grease/cooked food, carpet was filthy & beds were so uncomfortable we cut the trip short by a night. Overall not the worst place I have stayed, but definitely not worth the money & won’t be returning.”
