“Very much a vintage hotel experience. I had an excellent mountain view, which I was able to enjoy from bed every morning. The cleaning crew were efficient and very good. The staff was very helpful with planning alternative hikes. I chose to walk the 800m from the train station, which for me was very doable. “This by far was my favorite placed we stayed in Switzerland. Kandersteg is a gorgeous town and the hotel was so cute. We had the best view from our room. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious and had lots of options. I cannot say enough positive things about this location. Absolutely loved it!”

“Das Zimmer war wunderschön, gross und sauber. Im Flur hatte es eine kleine Kaffe/Tee bar wo mann sich bedienen durfte. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und in der Nacht war es sehr ruhig. “It was a good stay overall. Big room.Though Room was non AC but we were provided with Table Fans (Extra one was also given upon request) and quite apt for overall weather. It was accessible from main market and can cover by walk. Bus stop was also very close. ”

“The room was clean and quite nice. Unfortunately no bath robe and slippers. No gym either. Nice breakfast the morning after. Parking very expensive. Do not use it, there is a public one close and much cheaper. The position of the hotel is central. On the railway tracks but no noise at all. Overall a good experience.”
