“The hotel was older but some things had been remodeled in the past several years, and it was very clean. We were only staying one night and didn’t get there until about 7pm, about an hour later we heard a train that sounded like it was about to come through the room. I was hoping it was the last train of the night or something because no where that I saw the hotel said anything about a train being 10 feet away from the hotel. “The only reason to stay here is because it’s close to St. Olaf. Half the time there’s no one at the front desk, while I’m sure someone is watching, it doesn’t feel that secure. Everything in the room felt junky and pieced together with old extension strips. I think this hotel has been around too long…”

After ringing for quite a while a man came from the back dressed like a mechanic. He had on a company shirt, but didn’t look professional and didn’t act particularly professional. No greeting. “Hot tub dirty! Beds super hard! Phone in room was ringing 5 different time one night and 3 time the next night no one was on the other end! Breakfast was a joke not hot food but a pancake! I rented 4 rooms and one toilet didn’t work and the others were dirty and all smelled like smoke! I told them about smoke and they said I am sorry! ”
