“I have stayed in this hotel back when it was just the Riverview and it felt like stepping into a late '80s time jump lol. After a while of indecisive curiosity, I decided to go ahead and book a room at the newly renovated DoubleTree by Hilton. I was very impressed and could not tell what it used to be. The only thing that I would say that can easily be remedied, is that the "Riverview" side of the hotel, which charges an extra $10 should be redressed. There is no view of the Cumberland river,...

“Very nice hotel. The pool could use a good cleaning or maybe an update, but it served its purpose for my kids. I wish Expedia had shown the restaurant was closed on Sundays though. I can’t say enough about the staff though. They were all so kind. Caroline was an absolute sweetheart while we ate in the lobby. She offered assistance multiple times. I needed a room for the night as I was stopping in town before heading to Gatlinburg and meeting my fiance. This was by far the best hotel.
