“Lovely big comfy bed. Whilst the room was clean and comfortable the decor was a bit tired. It was a hot day and the only method of cooling was a small fan and we couldnt open the windows. Also the curtain runners need sorting as we couldnt close one of the curtains properly
Staff were friendly and efficient and breakfast was very good.”

“Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here.”
