“Great breakfast. Comfortable room. Host was very helpful.”

“Breakfast had these awesome ratings but it was really, really poor. Parking was in an adjacent hotel but not allowed outside Thatch which was odd when there are a minimal amount of rooms. It meant parking, carrying bags and then parking again. There was limited staff and you had to search for them if requiring anything. for instance the coffee machine was out of water and we had to wait 20-30 minutes for a member of staff to appear in the lounge to refill. “Great breakfast. Free parking and accessible to many tourists sites. Delightful and helpful staff. Many steps, room air conditioning not working. Very poor shower in bathroom.”

“The cottage is well maintained. The little touches are nice, books to read, games available to play, doodle art book to color. The host and hostess went beyond to make sure I was settled in and comfortable. They even provided me breakfast foods so that I could eat before leaving as I had to leave before their scheduled breakfast time. Their property reflects their pride in their home. Their warm greetings made me wish I had more time than the overnight stay booked. Very friendly folk!”

“We would give this inn six stars if we could! Cathy was fabulous: giving us the history of the inn and making our stay so comfortable, even giving us Dubai chocolate when she heard it was our anniversary. This inn is ideally located for walking to everything and the two-course gourmet breakfast gets you on your way with a full stomach and a smile on your face. Do not pass up this lovely and unique place to stay in a wonderful city!”

“The only thing we were confused about was it was not a bed and breakfast..but was listed as one online. No Breakfast. Everything else was great, and clean and cozy. The new TV was working but last day no signal could not watch TV. I was so happy they let us check out at 2 pm, as our trip back to Edmonton was early in evening. Coffe was so nice, and it was a pleasure to stay. We would return for sure.”

“Pros: rural setting, large suite, comfortable bed Cons: need electrical upgrade as only one kitchen appliance could operate at a time. 4 large dogs live upstairs- when they get excited lots of running and barking.”

“Overall place was okay. Ideas to make things better. 1. There were no staff or contact numbers available to help and answer questions. 2. No descrption of where bedrooms and sleeping couches were. 3. The tv controller was missing so could not watch. 4. We had to search closets for bedding. 5. Didn't find the thermostat controls until next morning. These and other minor problems could be avoided if the was a printed orientation guide for all facilities. ”
