good experience overall
Having a private beach in Sorrento area is a huge plus, the area is amazing and the service impeccable. It's a bit far from the center of the town but they have a little fiat van from the 70ies they use as shuttle. A ride on that van will bring you back to the past. The room was spacious but not in great conditions, we felt like it needs some small repairs. The restaurant dinner is a good option and not too expensive. Overall we liked the experience and we will probably go back at some point.

Beh insomma per essere un 5 stelle mi aspettavo di più...ad esempio nella pulizia dei servizi come le rubinetterie sporche di calcare...o il tasto interruttore bagno che non andava...o come lo scarico del water che nn portava vià la roba al primo tentativo...insomma piccoli dettagli che dato il prezzo...

Semplicemente strepitoso!!!
A 10 minuti dal centro di Sorrento, il Relais Regina Giovanna è immerso in un podere di limoni ed ulivi, con accesso al mare e gestito da personale gentilissimo che ti fa sentire coccolato come a casa tua, il tutto condito da sapori genuini come solo la terra campana sa offrire! Non potevano sperare di trovare posto migliore!

Davvero tutto perfetto accoglienza classe gentilezza veramente srmbrava di essere ospiti in un castello Se posso dare un consiglio sulla colazione dovrebbero arricchirla un pó di più ! Riguardo al mare due giorni trascorsi è stato un disastro a causa delle barche che scaricano ...purtroppo arriva sulla spiaggetta....quindi abbiamo fatto la doccia ! Complimenti a tutti ....ma vengo a sorrento per il meraviglioso mare e non poter fare il bagno è stato deludente nonostante il bagnino si prodicava a pulire con la rete ! Ma faccio i complimenti a tutto la staff

un bellissimo fine settimana vissuto in completo relax nella tranquillità di questo relais situato in posto riservato e abbastanza lontano dal caos degli alberghi affollati della zona. Ideale per le coppie e le famiglie che vogliono fare vacanze senza stressarsi in mezzo a tanta gente. Le camere spaziose,non essendo numerose, sono molto accoglienti e curate nei particolari

Ottimo weekend a Sorrento
Il relais è in una posizione davvero strategica sia per i bagni regina giovanna che per punta del capo entrambi raggiungibili a piedi in dieci minuti circa. La spiaggia privata (gestita da un bagnino simpaticissimo) è molto carina . Buona la colazione.

Fuori dal caos ma comodo al centro e alle fermate bus
Ho soggiornato al Relais per 3 notti con mio marito all'inizio di settembre. Siamo trentenni. L'hotel è semplicemente delizioso, lo staff molto disponibile, le camere ben arredate, spaziose e pulite. Dato che eravamo in luna di miele ci è stata regalata una bottiglia che abbiamo bevuto sulla terrazza gustandoci un meraviglioso tramonto. Dispone di ampio parcheggio, comodo se si ha l'auto, altrimenti ci sono circa 10 minuti a piedi per la fermata del bus. L'hotel non ha piscina, in compenso gli ospiti possono godere di una caletta molto esclusiva, vi si accede tramite una scalinata, forse non comoda ma ne vale assolutamente la pena! Lettini e asciugamani a disposizione. Dalla nostra camera splendida vista sull'agrumeto. Consigliatissimo, soprattutto se si ha l'auto e si vuole eplorare anche i dintorni come abbiamo fatto noi.

We really enjoyed our time here, the property was great. The private beach is gorgeous and we enjoyed walking through the olive grove. It is a bit of a hassle to get to the main town area in Sorrento, but the hotel did offer a free shuttle a few times everyday so that was nice. The room was really nice and the restaurants at the property were great.

The actual conditions of the properties are not as advertised. The management should have regulations with stay in guests, not making noise. We understand it is an eco place.however it seemed you do not have manpower to clear and arrange it in neat way. Unfortunately xit should be a gem in the region.

A really special place. Great to wander around the grounds, the private beach was incredible and the whole team were fantastically helpful. The food at both the beach bar and restaurant was absolutely delicious. Central Sorrento is just a short cab/shuttle ride away, but we actually didn’t want to leave at all during our stay! We just wanted to soak up this absolutely beautiful property - perfect!

We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. We were traveling from Rome to Naples via train then rented a car and drove to the hotel/Sorrento. Having a car is good around Sorrento. The shuttle was new. Many of the other reviews said it was old, so they must have gotten a new one. We took a taxi back from Sorrento to hotel with no problem.

Great Private Getaway
Really unique place, located on its own olive plantation, with its own private beach. Not walking distance to the main sights of Sorento, but a quick taxi cab ride away. The staff was very helpful. Our room was spacious, with fantastic views. The on-site restaurant was great and there were friendly, resident cats who joined us during meals. Highly recommended!

Оливковое масло свое, модно купить с собой. Неплохой свежий завтрак, со своими продуктами. Хороший ужин и относительно Сорренто недорогой и вкусный( 100 евро на троих с бутылкой вина) Дойти до Сорренто пешком - не рассчитывайте, долго и дороги пешеходной нет, придется двигаться буквально по автосерпантину Но есть бесплатный авто из отеля и назад в течении дня. Персонал очень дружелюбный, отличный английский, всегда можно договориться. На территории тихо и красиво. Отелю стоит чуть - чуть доработать ситуацию, сделать хороший например, сетки от комаров на все окна, разобраться с муравьями в пляжном кафе, возможно, чуть больше «лакшери» в домиках и будет 10 с плюсом! Парковка своя на территории. Так как это агрокомплекс, насекомых много - мухи, комары, муравьи. И избалованные кошки, прыгают на стулья, во время еды(( Место наверняка понравится детям младшего возраста

The place is set among beautiful lemon and olive gardens, natural, quiet with spectacular views. Beach is small and private, stony but wonderful considering the whole coast in the area lacks sandy shores. Staff is exceptional, food is great quality and we didn’t really feel the need to go anywhere else. Rooms are specious and decorated with taste. For going around, though, a car is recommended as taxis are overpriced and public transportation is not very convenient. Would definitely return.

Amazing spot for family vacation in Italy! Expansive property was a wonderful escape from the summer crowds. Easy to get in and out of town via free shuttle. Private beach with kayak boogie boards and snorkels. Walk to Roman ruins and secluded swimming cove. Staff was exceptional

Amazing place to stay. 20 acres of olive and lemon trees,private beach,huge apartment, golf cart help, lovely caring staff, great food on property. I will return. Free shuttle in cool Fiat(?) minivan,15 minutes to central Sorrento central. Call from train station to get the cabdriver who delivers you to their door. Other cabs refuse to drive to the door. Oasis from crowds, cigarettes, Italians smoke everywhere (ugh), noise, scooters etc. Yoga retreats here, food options available. We were there before outdoor restaurant opens. Lovely cafe at private beach. Steep steps to beach. Homade limoncello and more! Truly a retreat Italian style. Highly recommend for rejuvenation on your Italian grand tour.

villa josta oli oma uimaranta ja hyvät yhteydet itse sorrenton kylään. Olimme 5 yötä perheen kanssa, päärakennuksen viereisessä huvilassa. Keittiössä niukasti astioita mutta riitti kun teimme parina iltana pastat huoneella ja aamupalat omaan tahtiin. Oma uimaranta mukavan rauhallinen ja hyvin varusteltu, kajakki, räpylät, aurinko varjot ja pedot. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Tie hotellille tuntui ekalla kerralla pieneltä mutta siihen tottui nopeasti. Auto saatiin oliivipuuanalle villan eteen parkkiin. Hotelli oli oliivi ja sitruuna maatila jonka maat olivat laaja niemenkärki. Lähellä oli pienikauppa jossa mahtavat täytetyt leivät. Ei ihan normaali hotelli mutta kaikki hotellin palvelut.

The rooms are huge and the views beautiful! The customer service at the front desk was exceptional also. They went out of their way to help us with arranging transportation, etc. This is not a downtown hotel where you can just walk to shopping areas, but just a few minutes in a taxi or their shuttle. I would recommend it highly.

We stayed 8 nights at the Relais Regina Giovanna as part of our Honeymoon in October 2018. All of the staff were so friendly, they almost felt like a family! We were greeted by Lorenzo who was so informative and helpful on check-in. We were also greeted with a chilled bottle of prosecco in our room, which we enjoyed on the roof terrace, which overlooked the sea. The weather was fantastic for October so we were able to wander down to the private beach, although the public area a little further along had the best of the sun. Our room was really spacious for a classic room and the wooden beams gave it a lot of character. Only slight downside to our room, was that you could hear noise from some of the other rooms (tiled floor and heavy doors sometimes slammed). There was a larger party of students staying near us that were noisy one of the 8 nights we stayed. The location is about a 5-10 minute drive from Sorrento (30 minute walk but no pavement), but the free shuttle service worked fine for getting into Sorrento for day trips (by bus, train or boat) and the line A bus also runs until about 10pm. The distance from the centre is more than compensated by the idyllic setting of the hotel with a sea view! Restaurant is convenient and the menu changes daily, so we ate there three times. Luigi was the waiter who served us each time and was very attentive. Eating at the hotel was maybe a bit more expensive than eating in Sorrento itself, but the menu was higher end and great quality.

The nicest and most helpful staff. I made a reservation for a month later and they went WAY above and beyond to help us. Now.... they are friends.

Beautiful hotel in Sorrento
Relais Regina Giovanna is a beautiful hotel, with very friendly staff who will do anything they can to please you. The breakfast was delicious every day, with a buffet continental breakfast and hot dishes (such as eggs and bacon) that could be ordered. We also had dinner one night which was equally delicious, and very reasonably priced. The hotel's private beach adds a nice touch, with the beach bar open for drinks and light lunch. We hired a car on our trip as we wanted to travel around a bit, but the hotel has a transfer that regularly go into and out of Sorrento that we used a few times. An amazing stay, would definitely recommend to others and will definitely be going back. Thank you!!
