Hotel vicino a South Beach - University Place

“We arrived after 8pm and the doors were locked. There was a 'back in 5 minutes' type of sign on the reception desk that we could see through the window. My daughter needed to use the restroom. We waited, rang the doorbell, tried calling the hotel, and after about 12-15 minutes we were let in. The staff member was very apologetic and stated he had been assisting with an emergency. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant. ”

“They need Better pillows, also quiet hours weren’t really a thing, I got woken up a lot from voices in the other room or in the hallway. Overall the place was nice and clean. Very friendly owners as well. ”

“I have stayed at this Fairfield Inn for 10-14 days each year for the last 4-5 years visiting relatives and I must say each stay has been exceptional. The staff is courteous and helpful; the rooms are maintained by housekeeping immaculately, and the daily breakfast is always fresh and nutritious. In my working life I have stayed at MANY hotels and frankly this is one of the most consistently satisfying.”

“I chose Days Inn by Wyndham Lakewood South Tacoma mainly because it was close to the location of my meeting and more affordable compared to other hotels in the area. Check-in took longer than expected, although the check-out process was very quick. The room appeared to have been somewhat renovated, but there was a musty smell upon entering. I also found a strand of hair under the pillow, which was unpleasant. Since I only needed to stay for one night, I initially tried not to make a big issue...

“Parking was fine, but room is very outdated. Bed was not comfortable, couch was worse. Very little water flow in the shower or sink. Had to move the bed to find an outlet for my apnea machine. Had to unplug the lamp as it was constantly flickering due to loose fitting outlets. Breakfast was disappointing, only pre packed buns and coffee with powdered whitener. Went elsewhere. Won’t be back. ”

“The breakfast was very complete with many options. The area was close to waterfront restaurants. The bathroom shower had handrails and hand spray nozzles which is great for the elderly.”
