Motel a South Central Colorado

“I was given a king room and it was very spacious. Bed comfortably soft. Check-in was not too bad. Staff was friendly and provided warning of bears in town. I’d definitely stay again.”

“We booked on line. Once we got to the hotel around 7 pm the office was closed. We had to call a number to get a code for our room. It was a little confusing but once we understood the process it was fine. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable.”

We went into office to check in and as we are leaving noticed sliding bar that goes across door for safety. 😳 Walking into our room it did not smell clean. Went in bathroom and it was dirty. “The room did not have a smoke detector, which is concerning considering the way the lamp in the corner was wired. An ungrounded extension cord is plugged into the bathroom outlet, passes through the door opening, then the lamp is plugged in with a ground lift. This is not a temporary setup - the cord is mounted to the wall. The place is a dump.”
