The location is very, very close to the street, but the building, which apparently was constructed in 1810, was so well constructed that any noises from passing traffic could not be heard. “I arrived at the hotel at 1pm after driving 8 hours and was told if I checked in it would be $35 added to my bill for checking in early. Also I put a credit card on hold for incidentals and was told Expedia didn’t charge the proper sales tax so I was charged”

“The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue. There is a difference however between old and old/dirty/unkept. The floor was covered in dead bugs, spiderwebs, and dust. There was someone’s old food in n the mini fridge. Also, we are...

“It’s not terrible but it’s old and ugly. We didn’t find any bugs so that was awesome, but it is really loud from road traffic. ”

“An old railroad hotel, the Inn gives a turn of the century vibe. The many antiques and decorations maintain the feeling wherever you go, even as you walk about the property. The owners are friendly and available to assist with ideas for dinner or nearby activities. I have to admit, the trains running by at night were unexpected, but, it's a railroad hotel. And we quickly acclimated to it. I'd definitely recommend staying here.”

“Parking was easy, check in was super quick and we got there VERY late in the evening. Room was cleaner than anticipated!”

“Courtney was the check in clerk and was an instant friend of all travelers. She made us feel like we were home and was available for anything we might need for our stay. The carpet could use some updating but that was the only thing that wasn’t fabulous. A good place to stay and well priced”

“The room we were given had black mold and cockroaches. We told the staff and he did give us a new room, although this one was better there still was stains on the bed and walls. The rooms seem to leak a little water from the walls. The pool was dirty and not working.”

“If you move in and find a lot of bugs, I have a good method to get rid of them without having to do it by hand. You can catch the bugs in the trash can and flush them down the toilet. But it's difficult to flush the bug corpses out of the room's toilet.”

“Very clean little motel. The only thing missing was an ice machine. The remote to TV didn’t work. Other than that it is well worth the price. Would definitely stay again if ever in that area. ”
