“The building is old so don’t expect it to be like a modern hotel. It has heat but no air conditioning. The windows are drafty so we had the heat on in early May during our stay because it snowed. No great dining options nearby so we drove to Deadwood to eat. Breakfast is minimal. Coffee and orange juice and bagels and muffins. But it’s historic and it’s unique so it’s a great place to stay for a different experience. ”

“Dan and Nancy are great host. They couldnt have been more pleasant. The place is beautiful and couldn't have been more thought out. Every detail was meticulously thought of. We would come back in a heartbeat. The "ONLY" ask, is that folks have an option at breakfast. We had a couple folks who were allergic to an item served at breakfast. ”

“Property is located in the scenic Black Hills, very close to all the major attractions, Reptile Gardens, Bear Country USA and Mt. Rushmore is only a short drive. The property itself was beautiful, lots of wildlife to observe, we saw deer in the spacious back yard multiple times a day. Our hosts were very generous and made us feel like their home was ours. There was a washer and dryer located in the unit for us to use and came in very handy with 4 kids for a week. I would definitely recommend...

“We will come back!! This B&B was in a perfect location to see all of the historic sites. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and the owners were wonderful. We had the room with a hot tub and after a day of hiking and sightseeing that was a great way to end to the day!!”

“A little hard to find in the dark as the house number is not at the road but on the house with no light on it. But Barb told us she will put something up on the mail box once it warms up. Excellent hot breakfast! Good value here.”
