“Great facility, excellent pool, but not enough seats. Air conditioner in the room was blowing 88F. No reaction from staff. Had to call everyone to get a replacement room. No overnight desk service. Found a hair in the food, disgusting. Parking is ok. No EV charger. Resort needs better management. ”

“The room was cleanish. There was what I assume is soap residue on the shower curtain, a few stray hairs in the shower and I did not step on the floor barefoot. It was clean enough for what we needed but I would not book more than a few nights. There is only a mini fridge in the room and microwave in the lobby. Water pressure was good and hot. Overall cleanliness was disappointing but for the price I didn’t expect much better. The staff that I interacted with was kind. ”

“My husband and I stayed at The Chatwal Lodge (about two hours from NYC) and it’s easily one of the best resorts we’ve been to. It feels incredibly private and secluded—it seemed like there were only ~20 guests on property—so the whole experience was calm and special.
