  • Benvenuti a “The Dragonfly Den”, il tuo rifugio ideale in riva al lago per tutta la famiglia! Questo fantastico cottage con 4 camere da letto è progettato in modo intelligente per ospitare fino a 8 persone, rendendolo perfetto per famiglie numerose o gruppi con bambini. Due camere da letto dispongono di comodi letti matrimoniali, mentre le altre due sono dotate di robusti letti a castello (ognuno per due persone), che i bambini adoreranno sicuramente!

    La zona giorno, aperta e ariosa, è perfetta per ritrovarsi dopo una giornata trascorsa a nuotare ed esplorare i dintorni, con TV e canali satellitari per rilassarsi la sera. La cucina completamente attrezzata, con forno/piano cottura, frigorifero e microonde, rende la preparazione dei pasti per tutta la comitiva semplice e comoda. L’aria condizionata mantiene fresca la casetta nelle calde giornate estive, mentre il riscaldamento elettrico garantisce un’atmosfera accogliente durante le serate più fresche. La casetta dispone di un bagno completo.

    Situata in una posizione che permette di raggiungere facilmente il lago e dedicarsi alle attività all’aria aperta, “The Dragonfly Den” è sinonimo di divertimento, comfort e preziosi ricordi in famiglia. Tieni presente che gli ospiti devono portare con sé lenzuola, asciugamani e strofinacci.

Its location in a wonderful place near a lake - but building should have maintained in a better way. Its a four bed room, with only 1 queen bed and rest are all single bed / bunk beds poor lightings overall the cottage - and no lamps bathroom - no proper shower - no toilet papers - no lock - no door mats, I will not recommand for large groups. If well maintained this place is good to spend a peaceful stay.

Awesome property for a group of friends trying to hangout and have a good time. Owner was super helpful and understanding on various matters. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. On top of this, the owners provide kayaks and boats you can use to go into the water. Spacious cabins, and we were even granted an additional one complimentary. Overall great stay with all the amenities you could ask for, with a great value.

Our experience was a mixed bag, largely due to a lack of resources available to the property manager, which seems to result in inconsistent cottage quality. Unfortunately, we drew the short straw with our rental. Cleanliness was a major issue, as we found mouse droppings in the couch and cupboards, and the bathroom required a thorough cleaning. We also had to request a showerhead since one was missing upon arrival. While we booked for 10 people, the cottage could not comfortably accommodate a group that size; the bedding consisted of only two single bunks and two double beds, and the mattresses were highly uncomfortable. Additionally, the kitchen, which only had a small bar fridge for perishables, was too small for 10 guests. Structurally, the cottage had a severe slant—dropping several inches from the center to the front and back—making it difficult to walk normally. On a positive note, the property grounds and small beach are beautiful and clean, and our group truly enjoyed our time by the water. The manager was very accommodating with providing anything we requested upon request.

Terrible Experience – Completely Ruined Our Family Gathering

We had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with this property. They call it a "Family Fun Lakehouse," but I would strongly disagree with that label.First, do NOT agree to any arrangements outside the Vrbo platform. If they call or message you directly, I highly recommend asking them to communicate through Vrbo only. We made the mistake of answering their call and ended up in a very uncomfortable situation after refusing to stay at the property.Second, this place is not a private property — it’s a cabin surrounded by several other cabins and RVs packed closely together. There is absolutely no privacy. The cabin itself was very small, poorly maintained, and not clean. It felt more like a run-down campground than a vacation rental.We ended up leaving and booking another place last minute because it was simply unacceptable for our family. I would not recommend this property to anyone, especially families with young children.Save yourself the stress — book elsewhere.

We were a group of 8 people and booked this cottage for 2 nights, but we had to leave after just one due to how uncomfortable the stay was. First of all, the Stove wasn’t working, so we couldn’t cook or use hot water properly. There were no basic necessities — not even hand soap, enough blankets, or proper kitchen supplies. For a group of 8, they only provided one small boat for 2 people, which made no sense. It felt like the place was not prepared at all for larger groups. There was only one AC unit in the whole house, and it didn’t cool down the other rooms, making it hard to sleep at night. On top of that, the beach was dirty and didn’t match the pictures at all. The place also had a musty smell, was not clean, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. There was no cell signal either, and the host was hard to reach. Overall, it was not worth the money. Poorly maintained, not group-friendly, and missing even the most basic essentials. Would not recommend this place unless major improvements are made.
