Remodeled 3 bedroom - perfect location for beach trips and beautiful sunsets

Cute, totally remodeled cottage in small neighborhood 4 miles north of South Haven. Conveniently located to all South Haven has to offer, wineries, fruit stands, and lots of beaches and 15 miles south of Saugatuck/Douglas. Enjoy Lake Michigan sunsets right at end of street!

House has 3 bedrooms: 2 have queen beds, and one has twin over double bunk. Includes WiFi and TV with Roku for streaming. Huge deck off family room has table and chairs, a gas grill and a gas fire pit perfect for s'mores in the evening. Private side deck off primary bedroom is great for enjoying your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Fully equipped kitchen with island that seats 4 and dining table for up to 6. New appliances including full sized washer and dryer. Home has central air and heat, ceiling fan in family room. Two bathrooms: one with claw foot tub only, other with tub/shower combo.

Towels, sheets and beach towels are provided. Tram access to a small private beach is at the end of the street and South Haven's beautiful public beaches are a just a short drive away.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was in a perfect location to enjoy activities in both South Haven and Saugatuck not to mention the convenient beach just down the road. The house was stocked with lots of activities to use right at the house which we didn’t use because we were on the go most of the time. We did use the beach chairs almost every day because that’s what we were there for. The kitchen was also well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. We did stay in several nights instead of eating out so we could enjoy the beach longer. We also enjoyed the Roku TV as we had family movie nights. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and were gracious hosts. My daughter was very appreciative of the welcome gifts found on the island upon arrival.

Everything was cutely decorated and modern! We had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware and some common spices. We also had plenty of towels and bedding for our family of 5. We enjoyed the grill on the back deck and the games in the front room as well as the Roku TV for inside downtime. The walk to the beach was easy and we went every day. The signs on the lifts were entertaining to read! Sunsets were awesome and the water felt wonderful to swim in. It was a quick drive into downtown South Haven and there are so many places to eat and shop there. Would definitely recommend this cottage!

Gem of a House

The house is adorable and clean. It is very well maintained and much bigger than it appears to be on the outside. The neighborhood is fantastic and the owners are very accommodating. I highly recommend!

Great little house, great little beach

Eventide Cotttage was a lovely home base for our family's trip to South Haven! The house was clean, cute, and comfortable. The deck and yard were pleasant too. The beach down the street was small, but SO convenient to send half the family down there while the little kids napped at the house, and the shoreline is accessible for quite a ways, allowing for a fantastic long walk along the beach. One thing to be aware of is that the cottage is on a dirt road; the road and the little beach were both muddy the day we got there, so we spent the first few days going to other beaches in South Haven (which were so close! Not a hardship!). Overall, a lovely stay!

Wonderful getaway

Truly enjoyed our stay. Perfectly located between south haven and saugatuk which made it easy to visit both! House was clean and had all the necessary kitchen needs to cook from the house. A short walk to the end of the street for beach access and beautiful views of Lake Michigan. Would definitely return. We had an amazing trip!

Great House and Location!

We wanted to spend our time between Saugatuck and South Haven and this house was perfect! Comfortable, clean and just the right amount of room for 4 friends. Every comfort was thought of, like extra charging cables, some DVDs & books, a kitchen outfitted with anything needed and nice additions like beach chairs, towels, and the gas fire table we used every night! Best part was the excellent communication from the owners. I would definitely recommend this house for your stay in South Haven!

3 Generation Girls Lake Michigan Week

This was a great vacation spot for my two daughters, only granddaughter, and me! Out of town, but close to town, and close to Lake Michigan. The cottage was so cute, clean, and comfortable for our group! The owners were also easy to contact and quick to respond! Loved it!

Great location to South Haven

We had a great stay at this house. The neighborhood was 5 minutes north of South Haven downtown and their road ended in the beach. The tram to descend down to the beach was very much appreciated with our kids. Cannot rave enough about the location. The house was very clean and updated. The bunk beds in one of the rooms was perfect for our kids and they loved it. The back patio was used every day for the kids to play then my husband and I sat by the firepit outside once the kids were in bed listening to all the nature sounds. We would stay at this house again in a heartbeat. Would also like to add it was fully stocked with everything we needed- linens, towels, hand soaps, dish soap, full size fridge, and the washer and drye! Thank you so much!

Friend-Cation Success!!!

This house was PERFECT for our group of college friends to gather and hangout! The back deck was our favorite gathering spot with the fire pit. Sunsets at the beach were amazing and relaxing. We love the Eventide Cottage and hope to return!

A perfect cottage for our family!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! It was perfectly laid out for the 5 of us-2 adults and 3 teenagers. We loved the coziness of the house and the beach decor throughout. We spent mornings and evenings in the spacious backyard laying in the hammock, tossing a frisbee and making Smores. The private beach at the end of the road and taking the tram down to watch the sunset was our biggest highlights of the stay. Everyone had a wonderful time and the hosts were always available and quick to respond with any questions we had. We would love to come back!

Great location

The house was clean and just as described. Ed and Kate kept in touch and were easy to communicate with. We loved how close it was to town and the sunset views from the end of the street were beautiful. Such a great little area and we can’t wait to come back!

Amazing sunsets

A few minutes walk to a beautiful sunset ever night. Only a few miles to downtown South Haven. The perfect location. The house was as stated. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Eventide stay

Cozy cottage with private (association) beach, and convenient South Haven and Saugatuck attractions. Cottage is roomier than it looks, great amenities including a nice enclosed front porch, game/puzzle room, rear deck with grille, and all the other things you'd expect from a 1st class vacation home. This cottage is very well maintained, had reliable wi-fi, and central air. Access to the private beach via tram was a fun alternative to going to the bigger beaches in South Haven. Would definitely stay there again!
