Cozy comfortable Cabin

We had a great weekend getaway with a small group of friends. The listing was accurate and the cabin was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you would possibly need. Highly recommended!

Awesome time!

We were there from friday till sunday. The property was clean, equipped with everything we need. Enjoyed our stay! I recommend that you go to the back yard at night. The sky was so clean you can see all the stars🌟

We Loved Our Stay!

The property was exactly as described. The furniture was a bit different than in the pictures, but it was better than what's shown. The cabin was clean and well taken care of. My friends and I loved our stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot near Hobart, or another neighboring town.

Nice place!

Needed lodging for our family as we attended a wedding nearby, served as a great space for us to relax in between events. Enjoyed nearby Mine Kill State Park pool and falls and bookstores in Hobart. House and yard worked well for us although the two downstairs bedrooms definitely have a basement feel, concrete floor and windows very difficult to open. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need.

Long weekend Get away!

We had a long weekend getaway with the boys! Great area for exploring the outdoors we had a blast! Just what the doctor ordered! The house is just as it says in the description none of us had any complaints! We will be back.

Came to New York to visit family, house was as described, only suggestion if coming in Summer May want to bring fans they had ceiling fans but rooms were still a little warm other then that nice place to relax

Excellent service & gorgeous home

Christmas with my family in the absolutely beautiful Catskills and the home was out of a story book with incredible views, very spacious and extremely clean.The home had everything we could possibly need and our hosts were very accommodating and I definitely will be looking forward to rebooking this spectacular home in the spring. This was my first experience with a house rental and I couldn’t be happier..... we literally felt at home and it was the best Christmas ever ....... ❤️ If your looking for a home in the mountains this is the place to stay !!!!!

Somethings need to be addressed.

Basic supplies normally provided were low or missing. Bad box spring. Plumbing issues. No washer/dryer found on site and Host non responsive regarding lack of laundry. Location and sitting area very nice.

Tucked away cabin

Overall a well kept cabin with nice amenities including a well appointed kitchen, deck, grill and great room with open concept design. Would have appreciated a heads up regarding the bathroom rules where toilet paper was to be placed in the trash and not flushed. We would have brought scented baggies and wipes. The bed and pillow quality was poor. The two bedrooms in the lower level which technically was a basement were cold with cement floors. Cable was not available or working which was not stated in the contract. We were unable to reach the owners with our questions.

Fall weekend getaway

Perfect timing for fall foliage at the Catskills and the property itself! Close enough to neighboring towns but feels very private around the house. Spacious enough for all of us that stayed specially the common areas (kitchen, tv room and dining) where we all gathered most of the time. We used the kitchen often and had all the basic utensils and more to prep meals. We used the gas grill daily too! Outdoor grilling area/deck would’ve been nice to use too but it was getting cold.. Also had to wake up around 1-2am nightly as the heater shut off since we forgot to program it to keep running. Overall great for a big group!

Loved the open common area. We were only four people but I can see how it could have worked with many. Definitely quiet and tucked away. The kitchen had everything we neeeded and 2 bathrooms was a plus. The back bedroom was missing a screen which was unfortunate in the hot weather. Having read an earlier review I was aware of no A/C so we packed some electric fans from home.I would suggest a few bedside lamps.

Very spacious for kids to play

Overall the property was great, close to town and still close to platekill ski. The management company is not great with email response but just call they answer right away. They salted the driveway and was very very prompt in answering calls. The email comes from a management email, that looks like spam. I almost deleted it but good thing I realized it was check in instructions, lol. Most the rooms and gatherings are upstairs so it's easy.... we loved it! Thank you ❤ for having us

Which way is the way!

Great location, great house. Plenty of room in dining/living/kitchen area for our family to gather. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Beautiful deck with lots of seating to enjoy the amazing end of summer weather. One of my sons even slept on the outdoor hammock!

Didn’t realize there isn’t any air conditioning and I had a very hot weekend. 2 bedrooms are in the basement and are extremely musty 3 people in my party could not sleep there after the first night and left to go somewhere else Also didn’t like that they ask you to not put toilet tissue in the bowl. So everyone had to toss the tissue into a pail. Very unsanitary. Kitchen was well equipped and clean. Main floor 3 bedrooms were fine

Not the best experience

Started with a wrong code and hard to reach property managers. The house can sleep 12 so we were surprised that there was seating for 2 in the living room, which was especially rough with the poor weather we had. When we had issues/questions before checkout we called and texted both property managers and never heard back - if there was a real emergency it would have been dangerous.

Wedding weekend

We were staying for wedding at spruce lake farm. This property was clean had everything we needed easy set up roomy comfortable. Even had a pack of baby wipes which we had forgotten, lifesaver. Only criticism is it needs a more comfortable couch chairs. We were completely indoors as it rained entire time so couldnt use deck grounds which are very very nice.

Home away from home

Thank you! We had a great time celebrating my sister's 45th birthday. Plenty of room and plenty of "extras" at our disposal. Good variety of kitchen essentials and spices to use, as well as access to games, laundry and a great sound system. We actually used the grill (thank you for the salt and shovel that were there). Even my Mom who is ultra picky, enjoyed her stay. Would return!

Our Skication

We had a great trip! The house was clean and spacious and easily accommodated our group of nine. The house had everything we could need plus more. We spent three days skiing at Plattekill mountain, which was a quick 20 minute trip away. We ate at TPs and ordered from Vastas and it was all delicious and affordable! We will definitely be back for our next ski trip!
