  • Welcome to SeaGills Rest - A Cozy Getaway by Nantucket Sound
    Escape to SeaGills Rest, a charming studio cottage in South Yarmouth, where the serene beauty of Nantucket Sound meets the comforts of a cozy retreat. Perfect for couples or solo travelers, this delightful space is designed for rest and relaxation, accommodating up to two guests.

    About SeaGills Rest
    Inside SeaGills Rest, you'll find two comfortable twin beds, ideal for unwinding after sun-soaked beach days. The kitchenette includes a fridge and coffee maker for simple meals or your morning brew, and the inviting living area features a Smart TV and WiFi to help you feel right at home. Fresh linens and towels are provided for your convenience.

    The sleeping arrangements include a twin bed with a pull-out twin trundle directly underneath it. Please note that the lower trundle bed does not elevate to the same height as the main twin bed.

    Just a short walk to a private beach, SeaGills Rest offers the perfect spot to relax by the water, with beach lounges available for guests. Surrounded by a peaceful pine grove, you can enjoy grilling in the shared BBQ area or simply savoring the tranquil setting.

    Seaside Cottages offer the perfect blend of charm and convenience for your Cape Cod getaway. Ranging from cozy studios to spacious three-bedroom cottages, these delightful retreats are nestled along the shores of Nantucket Sound in South Yarmouth. Guests enjoy exclusive access to a private beach, where soft sand and gentle waves provide the ultimate relaxation. A shared charcoal grill and picnic table area create a welcoming space for outdoor meals and gatherings. While some cottages boast stunning water views, all are just steps away from the beach, ensuring you're never far from the coastal beauty of Cape Cod.

    While our cottages do not have air conditioning, we encourage guests to open the windows and enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze that is one of the unique charms of staying at Seaside Cottages. Each cottage is equipped with fans for your comfort, and our on-site office is always happy to assist with additional fans to help make your stay more enjoyable.

Seaside Cottages is a great family oriented village. My cousin & I stayed here four nights in a cozy, beautiful, quiet, clean and well stocked tiny cottage for two. We loved it. They have simple instructions for renters to follow. Seaside Cottage Village is situated in an excellent location minutes from restaurants, shops and miniature golf venues. The only thing that I would suggest the host is to change the sofa with the extension to a complete Queen Mattress Sofa Bed (you have the space). The sofa that is there now, when you open it, you have the seam between the back and the part where you sit and then another seam when you open the extension. When is totally open, it has 3 different sections with two seams going across making it a bit irregular which gave us back pain. It was uncomfortable. So, to solve this inconvenience, I guess I would have to bring a Queen size inflatable mattress & place it on top of this sofa. With that suggestion change, for sure we would love to come back and stay in this lovely tiny cottage #23. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
