“It is an excellent location, beautiful sea view rooms overlooking south bay, close to local amenities, there is a lift to take you down to the seafront and back again, only cost £2.50, I recommend it for the view. Rooms are serviced every day, great friendly staff, great restaurant and it’s dog friendly too, don’t take my word for it! Just go and enjoy 😊 ”

“The room was ok,but you could smell kitchen odours in the bathroom . The evening meals were poor, alot of the meals did not have the ingredients and the meals were poorly cooked. Lacked organisation ”

“I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they...

“Unclean and run down. Breakfast tasted cheap for £38 for 2 adults and a toddler. Strange setup and nothing like what was advertised. Extremely heavy and fast shutting doors, no good for little fingers in a family bedroom.”

“Tired and in need of care and refurbishment. Parking limited and not easy access. Room showing signs of damp in bathroom. Entry door damaged and needed repair to gain access. Plus side hot water supply very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Disappointed after good cooked breakfast at the weekend Monday morning continental breakfast, which consisted of dry, stale mini croissants and pain au chocolat, no chese or cold meats(available at the weekend) and hot drinks machine not working. ”

“Lovely welcoming staff. Friendly atmosphere. Well stocked bar with plenty of seating & a beer garden. Great cooked breakfast. Everywhere well cleaned. Good spacious room with a lovely comfy bed, kettle with tea/coffee etc. hairdryer, toiletries in bathroom. Nice hot shower. We would certainly recommend & will return for another stay. ”

“Had bad experience this time around waited 20 minutes just to check coz there’s only one staff member running accommodations do he’s never been in the building when ever I needed help there was no only one electrical socket far away from the bed no internet toilet is 2 floors down absolutely ridiculous and also noise from other guests to mention but a few”

“Jacuzzi was out of order and pool cold due to broken pump. No complimentary breakfast or discount was given. Very disappointed as only booked that hotel over others for facilities and they were unavailable. 30 minute walk to get to the main attractions”

“We parked elsewhere... After a major let down from where we were ment to stay.. we found the grand and it was perfect for us ..clean and warm .. apart from bath not cleaned (I did it myself) everything was great ..we will be back ...”
