“This was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at night— if it’s hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. But it was very clean and comfortable.”

“Lovely tranquil location amidst countryside, easy drive to nearby places of interest. Dog friendly. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom and cosy living room and bedroom with all amenities to make this a great home from home stay for a couple of days. Warm welcome, friendly, attentive service from Hilary and staff. 1 minute walk to cafe for excellent breakfast, which we ate outdoors in sunshine. “Property was brilliant area excellent as I know it well being from Walker originally.Could not fault the cottage apart from the obviously inflated price for Sam Fender concert. As a Geordie this didn't go down too well. A must if you are a visitor to the area as it is set in an idyllic and central area for almost everything worth visiting in Newcastle area and beyond.”
