“We wanted a relaxing and peaceful holiday with a pool and view and good service. This hotel didn’t disappoint us.
There are only six rooms so the service was personal and exceptional.
The hotel is located at the quieter end of the Hikkadawa stretch of beach which suited us. The livelier bars and hotels were only a short walk away too.
There are buses every five minutes just outside that took us to the Tsunami museum one day and Galle Fort another for about 50p each, each way. Great fun and...

“We took the train from Colombo to Hikkaduwa, and then took a tuk-tuk to our hotel. The taxi only cost 300 Rupees, but if you're feeling adventurous it can be walked on either the road or along the beach in under an hour. The hotel is small with only 4 rooms, but is perfect for someone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay. It is located at the end of Hikkaduwa beach, so there are not many people around.
