Tranquilla tenuta sul lungomare, 12+ acri con darsena privata a Spicewood! Proprietà su misura unica e recintata di un artista locale di nome Rex Butterfield, i cui lavori in ferro si possono trovare in questa proprietà unica in affitto dall'ingresso principale esterno alla gamma di sfiati interamente in rame in cucina. Finiture e dettagli squisiti fatti a mano in tutto!

La casa principale è di 2.514 piedi quadrati, più abbiamo una sala giochi / giochi da pavimento con pavimento in legno indipendente di 1200 piedi quadrati con tavolo da biliardo, air hockey, schermo di proiezione da 200 pollici, audio surround e TV satellitare. Questa gigantesca sala ha tutto il necessario per intrattenere amici e parenti.

All'esterno, nel patio c'è una cucina all'aperto in stile Al Fresco dotata di due griglie a gas e una griglia a carbone con vista sulla proprietà. Cucinare non fa per te? Siamo a soli 30 minuti dalla Hill County Galleria per negozi e ristoranti. A pochi minuti lungo la strada c'è il premiato barbecue Opie, Spicewood Vineyards, Iron Wolf Distillery e Krause Natural Springs.

Porta le tue canne da pesca, moto d'acqua o barca e usa il nostro molo per nuotare e goderti il lato tranquillo del lago di Travis. Troverai un sacco di cervi, magari spiando una volpe e ammirerai lo splendido scenario. Il lago e il molo si trovano nella parte inferiore della proprietà, che è una piacevole passeggiata breve o 2 minuti in auto. Immagina 12 acri tutti per te !!

Amazing - laid back beauty with all the conveniences

Thank you for making us feel so welcome! From the greeting left for us to daily treks down to the lane to chilling in the game room, everyone in our group had a good time. There’s plenty of room to spread out here, and the folks with us who had limited mobility were able to access everything except the dock (which we knew in advance). The lake was low (~44%), but plenty of fun - swimming, kayaking and fishing - and no issue getting out to the dock, which was delightful in the morning with a cup of coffee and a breeze.

We loved everything about our stay. The owners thought of everything. I’m so so picky. It was spotless. The kitchen had all of our needs. The outdoors was a blast. I can’t wait to come back!

Fun Family Trip

Mike was an awesome host!! The house is beautiful. It was perfect for a family. The game room was perfect for kids and adults. So much space for us to roam and play. We were able to walk or drive our car down to the lake. The lake was low, but Mike pulled the dock in for us, and it was still very accessible. They even left chairs for us to use, so the adults took advantage! The kids had a great time playing on the sandy beach and swimming in the lake. The field of bluebonnets was a gorgeous photo op, and we were able to see so many deer!

Artful and comfortable!

The Iron Gates property is truly a piece of art! Beautiful architecture, comfortable furnishings, gorgeous views and those amazing gates! Our group attended a wedding at a nearby venue and really enjoyed our time in this beautiful home. The media/game room was an awesome bonus for us! The owners communicated well and were very responsive as we planned our stay. Highly recommend this place!

Another Wonderful Family Getaway

Our family has stayed two summers at this Spicewood property and just like last year we had a great time. The house is very accommodating with its spaces and the essentials. The spacious property with private dock provides a sense of seclusion and serenity that is not normally found on other properties. The dock provides plenty of shade from the hot sun and a nice place for fishing or dipping in the cool lake. The game room is a bonus that adds to the entertainment. Our host, Mike, is always available to respond to our questions and always arranges a nice housewarming at our arrival. We hope to make this an annual trip and are looking forward to next year.

Fun and Relaxing

The family had a great time! The property was beautiful and in excellent shape. The family enjoyed the game room with a little fun competition at the pool table. We had fun floating and swimming around the boat dock. The property owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. We will hopefully be going back next year.

Country Cabin Paradise

Wow! Such a great experience! The property was exactly as described. Quiet, secluded, and relaxing. The house was fully stocked and provided us with everything we could’ve needed, and more. Even the cook wear was exceptional which is rare with vrbos. We used the bbq area outside 2/3 nights. Both grills worked great and they even provided a bag of charcoal for the 3rd grill. We saw 3-5 deer every morning and every evening. The house was beautiful and it was apparent that these owners really value and take care of the property so that it can be enjoyed by their renters. The river was pretty low because of the drought but we still had plenty of fun swimming off the dock. Kids had the time of their lives with all of the open space and swimming. The game room is a HUGE plus and we really enjoyed letting the kids have their own area to play in. The house is completely updated. I would recommend this property and these hosts to anyone. Great experience with zero downfalls to speak of. Thank you for the great memories my family and I will forever cherish.

Incredible place - everything you could need

The stay was amazing, it was everything we could have asked for and more. The house was stocked with all necessities and the hosts were so informative and communicative. If you’re on the fence, don’t be! 11/10 would recommend.

Wonderful!

We had the best time at the Iron Gates! The property is beautiful and immaculate. The walk to the dock was a bit far but not terrible- access to the boat and jet skis for an additional fee would have been amazing. Cell reception is poor and there’s no WiFi but if you’re looking to disconnect with family and friends the house is ideal for entertainment.

Amazing summer home vacay!

This rental was amazing! Plenty of space and the home was gorgeous. The game/media room was the perfect spot to watch some soccer on the big screen! The dock was perfect to hang out and dive right in, just bring a float and tie yourself down and you’re set!

Spicewood Lakehouse

Our family spent a long weekend at this wonderful Spicewood Lakehouse. The house served us perfectly and the dock at the lake was perfect too. The property on 12 acres provided a great sense of solitude surrounded by nature. The amenities were more than sufficient and Mike was great host that made communication with trip planning easy. We are looking forward to another visit in the future.

Very roomy, extra attention to guests needs (extra sheets,mattresses,pillows ) well equiped kitchen, helpful notes keeping guesswork to a minimum. Media pool room is awesome. Could use some extra seating over there. Overall.. it was a great weekend with minimum worries.

Absolutely stunning!

We had a fabulous stay in this gorgeous property. There were so many thoughtful touches and everything from the mattresses to the kitchenware was first class all the way! We loved sitting on the dock and our children had so much fun playing along the water’s edge and exploring. Truly a paradise and the perfect lake getaway! Private, relaxing and luxurious, we hope to stay here again!

Amazingly beautiful house

We loved our stay at this house which was the most beautiful house we've ever stayed at. The artwork everywhere was so interesting. Kitchen was perfect for cooking with large groups. It was so nice to have the huge open space outside to play outdoor games or enjoy the indoors with the large movie theater and pool table and air hockey. Great location--easy access to Opie's BBQ, the distillery and Krause Springs. Host was very helpful.

Perfect Get-Away from Dallas!

Our family had the best time. We loved the house, the kitchen had everything you could have asked for, the bedrooms were comfortable and the property was exceptional. We spent hours on the water, chilling on the dock, listening to tunes and our daughters loved floating around and exploring. We absolutely recommend this house to anyone, and will be back as soon as we can!! Mike was accommodating and communicated perfectly throughout, and we enjoyed some great food and wine recommendations from him. Thanks again!!!

Oasis

This is by far the best vacation rental that I have rented. My family and I spend 7 days in the home and enjoyed every minute. The accommodations in the home made it extremely easy to adjust and not miss home at all. When we first got to the home, we found a welcome note from the homeowners next to some bottles of water and some treats to enjoy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and the towels and linens are top quality. The one word to describe this place is, oasis - It is extremely peaceful, private and luxurious. The access to the lake is amazing and the dock is very large, which makes it easy to enjoy a day at the lake. The homeowners are very responsive and provided us with a nice overview of places to eat and visit. We will definitely be back!!

Great location and plenty of room!

A quick drive from San Antonio with plenty of room to enjoy on the property or in the home with different lounging or game areas! Great water front and swimming right off the dock. We would definitely recommend Iron Gates!!!
