“We went to the dining room the first evening of arrival to order some dinner after a long day of travel with delays and other problems, and were told it would be over an hour to get served because they were busy with room service. This was around 8pm in the evening. They shouldn’t have a dining room up if they aren’t any more efficient than that.”

Fix your ice machine machines! 2. Put some towel bars in the bathrooms! A room with two queen beds is clearly meant for multiple people. However, there was a single hook on the wall. No rod to hang multiple bath towels, no place for hand towels. One single hook for everyone to share for every type...

“The balconies off the rooms were nice to grab some quick fresh air. The fitness center is open 24hrs. The restaurant was decent food. But it is an older hotel in need of some renovation and there’s really no other options besides paying for valet service if you have a vehicle. I would’ve hoped that valet parking be included with our stay but that wasn’t the case.”

“The Fontaine is in our rotation when traveling to KC. It continues to be very suitable for its location, cleanliness, comfort and value. Are the rooms in need of updating? maybe, but not to extent of calling them tired. We love visiting the bar on the 7th floor off the pool deck, though pool was not open for the season yet on this stay. Some of the best happy hour drinks you'll find anywhere! On matter of bathroom towel racks, none except one in the shower, not sure why there aren't any on...

“We booked a king room, but were given a double queen. We were not told about the change in our room until we arrived at our actual hotel room. When we called down to ask about it, the clerk lied and said he'd told us at the desk that they'd changed our reservation. He also said he'd told us that the room was handicap-accessible (which wasn't a problem, but he never actually told us about it).
