Lovingly maintained and updated for modern comfort, this home still carries the charm of its original builders. Wake up to the sights and sounds of farm life, with open pastures, scenic sunrises, and fresh country air right outside your door.

The Experience:
Guests are welcome to absorb the farm scenery and simply relax in the tranquility of the countryside. Depending on the season, you may see farming activities in action, from planting to harvest along with cattle and sheep grazing the hillside. This is a fully operational farm with the daily hustle and bustle of farm life, including harvest in the fall, planting in the spring, and hay and cattle operations running year-round through the summer and winter. Be sure to wave to Lances Dad when you see him on the farm!

We really enjoyed our stay on the farm! Lance went above and beyond for us - including having the house decorated for Christmas for us! Coffee k-cups were stocked up & the grocery store is close for all your other needs. The house was clean & comfy. We will stay again.

If you are looking for tranquility in the country, yet easy access to Bourbon country, then Lawson's Landing is perfect. The host was not only responsive, he went out of his way to check in with us and offer suggestions during our stay. Everything was just as described in the listing and we had a great time. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again when we are in the area.

Lawson's Landing is clean and inviting, with a lovely fusion of modern convenience and rustic decor. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and appliances. Check in was effortless: I just messaged Lance Smith to let him know we arrived and he gave us the door code. During our stay, we enjoyed our farm life view, complete with cows and adorable sheep! Lance and his family are amazing, keeping contact and giving you a heads-up before he or his father come by the farm for daily chores so you know they are on the property. He even gave us a bucket of feed so we could feed the sheep!

Quiet, peaceful and great for families

We were in town for the Kentucky Derby and stayed in this lovely farmhouse. I really like the location because it was quiet. Lance went above and beyond if we needed anything! We will definitely book again and/or recommend to friends and family.

Perfect getaway

Lance was so easy to communicate with and very accessible should we need something. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Check in and out was a breeze, house was very clean and very well stocked. A perfect destination for our trip along the bourbon trail!

One stormy weekend

The farmhouse was beautiful and spotless. The outdoor area was cool with the silo. My best friend and I couldn’t have asked for better hosts. The list of local restaurants came in handy. Thank you for making our girls trip relaxing and trouble free.
