“The space was fantastic! It’s very much an extended cottage, and is warm and cozy! The host was very responsive, and went out to purchase a few additional amenities at our request. Very responsive host. One drawback is that there were a few bits that seemed to have been “missed” in terms of cleaning. There were a couple drawers filled with old packaging and garbage, kitchen items had a layer of grease covering them, downstairs bathroom had beard trimmings inside. I do, however, still recommend...

“Overall if you are a dirtbag climber and just in sheffield for a quick trip this place totally gets the job done. Our biggest issues were that there was no shower curtain so the bathroom flooded when anyone showered, none of the bathrooms had soap, and overall just super limited amenities. Also the trash out front was absolutely overflowing and was all over the yard. Honestly would stay again in a pinch, just would come with lower expectations.”

“Very nice location. Lovely room and plenty of breakfast options. Comfortable and quiet despite being in city centre. Nice smelling handwash and lotion. Housekeeping sorted out and divided beds as soon as we asked. ”

“Parking wasnt great on 3 spaces for the property so had to park at the top of hill and carry luggage down. Staff and room was lovely, room smelt fresh and was clean we was right next to main foor but could not hear much noise. Check in/out was quick and straight forward. Would recommend hotel. ”

“Non solo non mi hanno concesso l’upgrade gratuito, ma di tutte le tipologie di camere disponibili ci è stata data la più piccola, assolutamente scomoda per due. Il parcheggio che doveva essere gratuito è stato invece a pagamento. Prezzo colazione assolutamente spropositato rispetto a quanto fornito. Letto scomodissimo.”

“L'albergo è in un palazzo non recentissimo con arredamento non proprio moderno, ma comunque ben conservato. Le camere sono spaziose (più dei classici Holliday Inn Express) e la colazione era veramente buona. Se volete far tappa a Sheffield è una buona scelta, con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo”

“A good place to stay for three nights. Breakfast is fine even if I would expect more warm dishes and drinks (milk, for instance). I can't understand why there are no smaller towels in the bathroom and why no hairdryer is provided. I brought mine as I had seen other reviewers. One more thing to take care of is the staff at the reception. All very young people who didn't know anything about the area and the town. That's a shame! ”

“Despite the fact that they are undergoing renovations, I really enjoyed my stay. All staff members were helpful, friendly and welcoming. I took great advantage of the pool in the leisure centre. My room was clean and comfortable with a nice outlook over the barges on the Quays. Breakfast was particularly nice for a self-serve, all food fresh and tasty. I will be back.”
