“The maintenance man was fixing a door next to my room. He became very angry and began swearing every swear word in the book. Including the “N” word. Very unprofessional I might add, and he was saying it loudly. I couldn’t get my laptop to connect to the internet, I called the front desk and they charged my two dollars a day for their special super 8 wifi. I thought there was wifi there? Anyway the price was right and it was way better than the last time I stayed there. I’ll use them again.”

“Our room was not cleaned properly. Dead spider on carpet, dirt and dust on bathroom floor, all moldings were very dirty. TV screen was smeared with something. Room smelled of cigarette smoke and coffee dispute it being a no smoking room. Unfortunately a rowdy group of people sat on the patio outside our second floor room until 1 am. Not worth $149 per night. Kelly's Corner, which is just down the hill, has very good food and was the highlight of our stay.”

“The front desk guy was nice and held the room bc we got in late, but the room itself kinda sucked. Mold on the shower ceiling, water took forever to warm up, killed 5 bugs in bathroom/bedroom, road noise from trucks was loud, and they doubled the regular price bc it was grad weekend at Penn State. I'm not a hotel snob by any means, but it was hard to sleep due to the above.”

“The staff/managers let people around 40-50 adults and teens to have alcohol and party in the lobby until after 2:00 AM on Friday night and I asked for a different room on another floor and they said no. On Saturday night it was a repeat of Friday night in which I got a video of the staff/managers allowing the partying and drinking again.. They also allowed drinking and underage partying in the parking lot with loud music until after midnight. The lobby was filled with about 60 people...

“This property needs a good cleaning and all the carpet ripped out. Our carpet in our room was all stained. Staff was very friendly but wouldn’t stay here again.”

“Need was a bit lumpy, fitted sheet was loose and little scratchy. Bathroom shower curtain hung over shower pan and resulted in a huge puddle on the floor. Liked the furniture, room was clean enough. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, maybe fewer options.”

“No coffee in the room and no access to any coffee or breakfast the next day. No staff on premises after 9pm or in the morning. I paid more because it was graduation weekend. The staff at the attached restaurant was no help regarding our stay at the hotel.”

“Pessimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo. Prezzi da 5 stelle con camere e servizi da 1 stella (ma peggio di un motel dove almeno trovi la colazione inclusa). Struttura vecchia, quasi fatiscente. No ascensore per le camere che non sono al piano terreno (difficolta' per i bagagli). Nel secondo giorno di permanenza (rientrati a tarda sera con la brutta sorpresa che nessuno avesse rifatto la camera). Sconsigliato”

The beautiful cabin was immaculately clean and thoughtfully appointed with everything we could have needed. Peaceful, quiet, and super relaxing.
