“Very clean and decorated perfectly as a lake house. The kitchen was very well equipped, even having spices for cooking. The beds were comfortable and made with high quality bedding. The property has Internet, cable TV in every bedroom and the living room. The backyard has a large grassy private lawn and covered porch with plenty of seating, a propane grill and fire pit and private access to the lake. Portage lake is dreamy -- perfect for paddling. “My dad worked on Loring until it closed in 1994, and dad wanted to come home and visit. My 2 boys came up for the 1st couple of days and were able to fish alittle bit. ”

“Had an awesome time at this cabin! It was a bit cozy for four guys, but honestly, it worked out just fine. Super clean, comfy, and made a great basecamp as we explored fishing holes in the area. The location was spot on—close to trails and nature, but also near town.Becky, our host, was great. Super quick to respond and gave us helpful tips on what to do around the area.
