Beautiful Ocean Front Condo con una vista incredibile

  • Viste spettacolari e bellissime albeali definiscono questa unità di recente ristrutturazione sull'oceano del quarto piano. La camera familiare dispone di un enorme televisore a sezione e grande schermo per il tempo di famiglia e la cucina include tutto ciò di cui avrebbe bisogno per rendervi a casa!

    La suite padronale è dotata di un comodo letto matrimoniale e cabina doccia. La seconda camera da letto include un letto matrimoniale e un futon (se avete bisogno di uno spazio aggiuntivo di sonno). La terza camera da letto del nido del corvo ha due letti singoli. Ogni camera include una TV LCD a schermo piatto con lettore DVD.

    Per soggiorni più lunghi il condominio è dotato di una lavatrice anteriore e di un asciugatoio a pieno carico. Rilassatevi sul balcone davanti all'oceano, rilassatevi e godetevi la vista straordinaria. Non hai nemmeno bisogno di andare in spiaggia!

Great Stay!

The location is fantastic, close to plenty of wonderful restaurants and a short drive into downtown Saint Augustine. The condo was quiet, clean, and had a terrific view of the ocean.

Perfect Location

Location was wonderful. Close to everything but away from all the action. Delightful grounds and a gorgeous beach! Truly enjoyed the view from the balcony each morning and evening and being serenaded by the resident mockingbird. Condo had all the basic things we needed and was clean and comfortable to be in. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

We had an issue with ants in condo and with checking in on Saturday the office closes at 5 and does not open until Monday. We reported issue and they contacted exterminator but was a delay getting out. They were kind enough to refund one night for inconvenience. It is a wonderful location with a beautiful beach.

We still had a great time but the bathroom cabinet was broken, the screen door was broken, several glasses were cracked and leaked. Also there were no bath mats or any in the linens. Colony reef is a great complex but not sure I’d stay in this unit again.

Reviewer Comments: Disappointed...Upon checking in we found storm door closer torn away from wall, patio light hanging by wires out of wall, toilet paper holder off cabinet, floors sandy and dirty, and Black Mold in both bathrooms and in air conditioner vent in master bath. Sand could be seen under furniture. No carpet, floors should be wet mopped. TV service not what expected. We streamed what we viewed. Beds uncomfortable. A 2 rating is liberal.Not a clean, healthy, unit. Over Rated, Over Priced!

Customer Service?

We were contacted by the property manager on the day of our arrival and informed the unit we rented was unavailable due to a plumbing issue. We were told we were being relocated to a “nicer unit.” Upon arrival, we discovered the alternate unit we were assigned did not have the same amenities as the unit we booked (ie stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, leather sofa, or larger televisions etc) We immediately went back to the management office to voice our concerns. The property manager was assertive and dismissive. She informed us that we would have to pay an additional fee for another more comparable unit even though it was off season and the resort was not crowded. She did refund us the VRBO fee because the original unit we rented was not available, but offered no additional compensation for the lesser unit. It has always been my experience that anytime a property is not available, the customer is always upgraded and compensated appropriately without an additional charge. I feel the entire situation was handled inappropriately and unprofessionally. We enjoyed the beaches of St Augustine and will return again next Summer. We will not rent at this complex again.

Unit 1401 leaves a lot to be desired; Colony Reef team is great!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great views and wonderful patio furniture. Master shower pressure is excellent. Now on to the rest of the review. Unit 1401 is...not good. Cheap, ugly furniture. No worthwhile accessories like blankets or throw pillows. Complete lack of attention to detail: harsh, bright light bulbs. No area rugs, so everything is always sandy all the time. We added several small items to make it somewhat livable for a couple of weeks - laundry baskets, extra hangers, baking sheets, better light bulbs.Definitely wouldn’t rent this one again. If you do, know that you’re paying for the views and location and keep your expectations at rock bottom. The management team was friendly, helpful, and quickly responsive to any of our maintenance needs and questions. The negative aspects of this review are no reflection on them or our overall opinion of Colony Reef Club, and only speak to the unit itself.

The sunrises and ocean view is beautiful from the balcony.Saint Augustine is probably our favorite area on the Florida coast.My family had a great time while staying here and the office staff went beyond expected to handle a small issue not in their control that could happen anywhere you stay. Well worth the added drive for us although Myrtle Beach SC is much closer.1401 was in excellent shape, clean, great views, all mechanicals working although there was a slight flicker to the LR TV. It was reported and I am sure it will be fixed. The maintenance in this community is top-notch. Easy in, easy out, great unit, and on-site staff very helpful made for a great 1 week stay.

Family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great condo with an amazing view. When we arrived the fridge was dirty and I had to wipe it down. There was mold in the master bathroom shower and the small front bedroom at the air vent, I went to Publix and bought some mildew spray and cleaned it myself. The microwave didn’t work, it was replaced on the 5 day we were there, but the new microwave didn’t work either- so no popcorn on movie night. Some lights were out in the kitchen and dining room- they were replaced on the third day of our stay. There were not any pot holders, or rugs in any of the bathrooms or kitchen. I went to the dollar general to get some pot holders so we could take things out of the oven we cooked. It was a quiet and peaceful condo, which I really enjoyed. Hopefully you can get those few things, and clean the condo ls better- because we love coming here every summer with our family.

Only problem we had was the dryer kept popping open and ok forever to dry a load. We were in a great area. Lots of restaurants and close to stores. We enjoyed our drive to downtown St Augustine (about 15mins). Would definitely recommend.

Condo it self was very nice for 4 of us but the kitchen area was very tight when you had more than one person in the kitchen. There were also very few amenities that we are used to like beach towels and only one kitchen towel, no hot pads or pitcher. Made for a bit of a challenge for our usual routines. Everything was in good repair.

We had reserved a condo then just a few days before our trip were told the owners needed the condo. If you are going to rent your condo and agree to a date it should be honored. We were with family and as a result we were not close to them. Sad.

Beautiful view

The best thing about this condo is the patio size and view. From beautiful sunrise to stormy evenings, we were able to enjoy it all from the covered patio. The condo itself was the perfect size for the 6 people in our group with plenty of room to relax. I couldn’t give it five stars because the beds were a little beat up and uncomfortable and the third bunk room was next to the AC unit and very noisy. There was also an unpleasant musty smell coming from the vents. It improved slightly after we changed the AC filter, but could be bothersome for individuals who are sensitive to smell.
