Sandpiper Cottage- Walk to Beach and Pier!

Summary:
A second floor, spacious beach apartment located in Vilano Beach. Only minutes walk away from the Vilano Fishing Pier, Public Beach, and many popular restaurants.

>Large master bedroom with king bed and private ensuite bath
>Guest bedroom with queen bed and queen sleeper sofa in living room
>Walk to Porpoise Point public beach and Vilano Beach Fishing Pier
>Only a 5-8 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine
>Beach supplies GALORE- wagon, chairs, umbrella, toys
>Outdoor shower to wash off after the beach
>Book our downstairs apt, Turtle Hideaway, to sleep ana additional 4 guests!

Guest Access:
Guests have private access to the entire upstairs apartment, outdoor seating area, and outdoor shower. Free Wi-Fi, free parking, complimentary coffee for their first morning. A shared laundry room with 2 washers and dryers is also available to guests during day hours.

The Neighborhood:
A quiet coastal community, Vilano Beach is known for its sandy Atlantic shoreline and a fishing pier stretching into the Tolomato River. Casual beach grills, pizza places, and a marina surround the pier, which is marked by the Bluebird of Happiness, a restored vintage statue. The Vilano Beach Nature Boardwalk, running through wetlands near the Francis and Mary Usina Bridge, features mosaic art of local wildlife.

Other Things to Note:
Bikes and beach supplies are shared amenities with the upstairs unit and are on a fist come-first serve basis (plenty to use amongst all guests)
Laundry room is shared with separate access next to the unit, and only available to use during day hours
Parking area is also shared. One space is reserved for the Sandpiper Cottage

My cousin and I choose a place we have never visited, for our birthdays each year (this was our 59th), and we are both very thankful that we chose this particular property in Vilano Beach. The property itself is beautiful and set in such a quiet, private and lovely location. It was wonderful to be able to take a walk each day and night around the beautiful neighborhood, to the pier, to the beach (which you can drive on if you wish), to local restaurants as well as a Publix grocery store.It was obvious to us that the management company takes a lot of time and energy to make sure everything is thought of inside the home. It was very clean and spacious and the rooms were very comfortable. The management companies' communication was also quick, helpful, kind and thoughtful.The home is also located close to downtown St. Augustine so it's quite easy to take a quick drive to wander around and see all that St. Augustine has to offer.We both truly recommend this lovely home if traveling to the area; we couldn't be happier about our choice and our time in Vilano Beach.

A Wonderful Stay

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Sandpiper Cottage. The place was everything and more than we anticipated. The home was immaculate and well furnished with everything we could need. We enjoyed the front porch and the large - perfectly clean windows. Check in and out was smooth and easy. The home is in a perfect location to walk to the beach, restaurants and Publix. We very much enjoyed our time and would love to return in the future. Thank you!

Impeccable and Well Locatee

Wonderfully provisioned upper apartment flat. Very clean, bright and quiet. Walkable to beach, restaurants and grocery. Adequate heat for off season. We would definitely consider this location for a long term options.

Great Stay.

Husband and I stayed with daughter and son in law for a week. The cottage was very clean with enough room for us. We never felt we were crowded. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfort. ( linens included.) Husband said couch was "too comfortable." We were a walkable distance to the beach and short drive into town. Would recommend the cottage to others.
