“Very comfortable room, nice clean bathroom. The walls are a bit thin though so we could hear other neighbours, although everyone was asleep at night so no problem to sleep at all. The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. The breakfast was very generous and varied.”

“I stayed 1 night at Kingshead. The hotel is relatively new built and does not as such have historical charm. It was decorated and equipped very well and in a nice way. Thew room was spacious , tasteful and well equipped. The bed was a large and the duvet large enough for 2 people which isn't always the case. “I wanted to stay somewhere a little quirky and thought that this place would be ideal. There was a very steep lane on arrival. The hut shown in the picture is not the one we were in. We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night. “We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...
