“The VRBO itself was charming and nostalgic for a girls weekend. However, it was dirty. Cobwebs, dust, dead bugs and a coffee pot that we cleaned. It would have been helpful to know about the steep stairs on arrival. Luckily, we were all able to make stairs but if you have knee or joint issues probably skip this VRBO. The train was also an issue. The noise machines did not help our party as we heard the trains and horns at all hours. It was okay.”

“The Hygee House was exceptionally clean and well stocked and was the perfect home base for us. The quiet country setting was peaceful and we especially appreciated the local coffee packet to brew. This place had a great vibe for our mini vacation. ”
