Guest house a St. Charles

“The place is a lot smaller than we anticipated. However, it was very clean and comfortable. They had towels for the shower, cups and utensils, and a coffee maker! The AC seemed to have a mind of its own and didn’t really stay set to what we wanted, (could just be user error) and the front door kept getting stuck when trying to open it, which resulted in my son hurting his toe. I am sure that’s an easy fix tho! It’s amazing that pets are welcome! Our dog loved it! All of the people staying nearby...

“The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. The cleanliness and maintenance of the room and facility were great. We did not meet any of the staff because of reduced hours in the off season but the arrival packet was self explanatory. We would definitely stay here again.”

“This is a renovated property in the style of what used to be called "motor inns" - two stories, but the rooms open onto exterior sidewalks rather than interior halls . Our ground floor room was nice and it was scrupulously clean. Everything worked just fine. We enjoyed a drink at the little "Sports Lounge" that operates on the site. The morning breakfast was good and had plenty of options. And the staff were all very nice.”

“The room was okay and spacious. The check-in was confusing. We had to call to ask for a key to get in, soap, and the WiFi password. There were none of the usual amenities (ice, help at the front desk, etc). There was a bit of a language barrier. The sofa was torn and soiled. All-in-all it was ok.”

“Super logement, très bien agencé, avec une belle vue sur le lac (bien qu’un peu lointaine), tout confort !”

“Very nice place! Newly renovated and very clean. It was just the right size for us with a king bed and we thought our son might be joining us so the extra twin bed was great as well.”

“The cabin was very nice and spacious. The kitchen had a microwave and refrigerator/freezer. The beds were comfortable and when we needed to get a hold of staff last minute they were very helpful.”
